I've met all kinds of people who don't close their mouths while they chew. They just don't notice the disgusting spectacle they present, especially if you are also socializing during the meal or in a quiet place where the messy mastication seems amplified. As with other stereotyped behavior I'd recommend that you make a point of looking around pointedly for non-Filipinos who do this. The results might surprise you.

Try this: Why do people of the Jewish faith dislike Muslims? And now: Why is neither one of our statements really entirely true?

Yeah, I agree. Sometimes I want to ask people, 'Were you born in______?, Have you ever been to ________? If so, didn't they think you were an American?' Well, be happy with that. If you're like most of us, even a handy portion of recent immigrants, you've probably got a nice healthy mix of ethnicities in your background. I know I do.

Funny how the Democrats took over concern for the downtrodden race from the republicans in the 20th century. Starting with FDR and then Johnson pushing through his social legislation at the height of the civil rights movement. Unfortunately, a good proportion of American blacks are poor and what sane poor person would support the party of the rich who depend upon their exploitation?

Rhthym and 'funky'-ness are two different things you might be confusing. Surely, you know Fred Astaire had rhythm. I play the bass, so I better have rhythm! I've read that Otis Redding couldn't dance, but he did have rhythm. Black folks have always had more rhythmically pronounced music traditions, so picking it up was more natural. I guess white folks are still catching up - don't sweat it if you're one of them, just dance!

Though modern sociological thought calls it blaming the victim, there is a 'culture of poverty' involving modes of thinking and behavior that help keep poor people poor. An analogy might be the person who does poorly in math claiming he's just not good at it when all he really needs is to buckle down and do it. For him it's an easy out.

They are commanded to proselytize, and they feel they are doing God's work, which is more important than your or my privacy. I just tell them I'm an atheist, wish them well and close the door. It works. Just don't waste time arguing with true believers.

If based on physical appearance, I'd say it's just the 'exotic' aspect of them to the Western imagination. We have a long history of imagining the 'inscrutable' and mysterious Asian, however mistaken that may be. Beyond physical appearance, I'd look for the same qualities in any woman. I know that's not quite what you asked, but I think it's important.

Buick has always been a status brand among the working to middle class from their generation. I'd call it successful marketing.

I imagine that when the Pilgrim's landed in what they called Plymouth they couldn't speak a word of the Pequot tomgue. In the part of the country where you live there were Spanish speakers before there were English speakers. Many immigrants, including those who came against thier will, could not speak English. It would do most Americans a world of good to learn a second language.

I don't know about large volumes and high velocity, but I have heard of female ejaculation. I assume it's just an excess of the natural lubricating fluids that are expelled during the contractions of an orgasm.

I'm surprised they didn't prepare you for this?! Being female probably doesn't help and (I'm sorry) if your real name is Honey, that's not doing you any favors either. I know it's unfair, but that is reality. Still, I can't imagine all companies are as bad as that, so I'd say look for something else. Yeah, you could fight it, but that would just harm you. Best of luck. Let us know what you do.

In hot climates a slower pace is just a survival adaptation. In many pleaces work ceases for the hottest part of the day; it cuts down on death. Laziness is not the issue.

It's simply physiological. Just like the rest of the body, the vocal cords get old. They lose their elasticity and contract and that formerly rich baritone becomes high and dry. Tony Bennett has managed to avoid that to a great degree

I've never heard that one (no pun intended). I can't imagine such a thing would have to do with school, since many famous products of British boarding schools have not, to my knowledge, turned out to be gay, despite the stories any of them have related about life in those institutions. Since deafness is not genetic, that blows that idea. Are there so many gay deaf men, or are these just the deaf men who have stuck in your memory? Do you know for a fact they are even gay? Is it just the demographics of Denver? Is there a large gay community there? Are deaf people less affected by the altitude of the Mile High City?
