My friends and I are always curious about what kind of Asian girls foreigners think are beautiful. Can someone give me specific characteristics, no matter outer or inner qualities?

If based on physical appearance, I'd say it's just the 'exotic' aspect of them to the Western imagination. We have a long history of imagining the 'inscrutable' and mysterious Asian, however mistaken that may be. Beyond physical appearance, I'd look for the same qualities in any woman. I know that's not quite what you asked, but I think it's important.

Well, I'm a foriegner in Asia, if that's what you mean. The exotic and mysterious aspects are probably the ones that are most alluring to American men. By the way, let me reverse the question. How does a non-asian man attract an Asian woman? What cultural hurdles are there, what are some ways to be culturally sensitive?

I'm married to a woman from Taiwan who I met in graduate school. For men who are attracted Oriental women, the appeal is: * intelligence and introspectiveness * oriental features (eyes, skin, hair) * slimness Because these three things are so consistently present, what makes some particularly attractive is her specific face. It's difficult, if not impossible to describe what makes a face attractive. My wife is fairly tall (5'7') and not submissive, which runs counter to stereotypes. We've visited her family in Taiwan a couple of times, but I think it appeals to me that I don't have in-laws that speak the same language as me that I need to visit on holidays.

I've lived in several Asian countries and had relationships with the women there, so I feel qualified to answer your question. Physically, I am attracted to Asian women because they tend to be more petite than American women. I am attracted to their slender body type, shiny straight black hair, and I find their eye shape gives them an 'exotic' look that gets my attention. I also like their skin tone and I think they have softer skin and fewer blemishes. On the inside, I'm attracted to Asian women because they seem more soft-spoken, emotionally sensitive, and thoughtful than American women. I am more shy and soft-spoken than a typical American man, and I found I got along better with the women I met in the Asian countries where I lived. Also I found that Asian women were much more attracted to me than the women at home. I am tall with fair skin and blue eyes, and that seems to be the type of man Asian women are attracted to.

purely from a esthetic point of view I think that it is a combination of dark hair and dark eyes which is appealing. Some people like blonds, some like brunettes, that is personal preference. The shape of the eyes or bone structure is also appealing perhaps because it is exotic/different. Also Asian skin seems to be stereotypically smoother than white races (I realize this is a generalization) and it also seems to age much better. Youth is usually an appealing quality in members of the opposite sex, and Asian skin seems to age for the most part more gracefully.

Search for galleries of Japanese model Rina Matsuki and compare her to other models you found on the site. She is kinda asian beauty what white males like.

Many of my friends and I have 'yellow fever'. We all like the straight black hair and good skin. We disagree on skin tone and just how exotic the face should be. I like paler skin while my buddy likes darker skin. My buddy also likes the more bucked tooth girls while I don't. We like to say that I like girls from Laos while he likes girls from Vietnam. We both like most Japanese girls but only a few Chinese girls. I have another friend who likes 'Americanized' girls while we like traditional acting girls. I eventually married a Native American who I actually thought was Cambodian when we first started dating. (I don't mind darker skin too much apparently.) I don't think there is a specific look for everyone.

I've always been partial to Asian women. Specific things I find attractive are the skin color (typically darker than Caucasians); high cheekbones; and dramatically black, straight hair.

I'm physically attracted to Asians, because I like dark hair and dark eyes. I'm also attracted to Blacks and Hispanics. The other feature asians have that I like are high cheek bones. Psychologically, when I was growing up, most Asians were intelligent and naive, in other words 'good' girls. It is extremely exciting to sexually 'corrupt' the innocent whether in realty or fantasy. Unlike most guys, I am attracted to the girl next door type of Asian, not the dancing on the table type.

As a woman who has her acrylic nails done all the time, I have the opportunity to view many Asian women in the nail shop. I have very often sat in the nail chair any considered how really beautiful Asian women are. I am not gay by any means! I am absolutely straight. And I am not a jealous woman who fears other women who are beautiful. But, the features that I believe bring beauty to these women is that most all have the most beautiful skin. Not only in color which is almost always a beautiful flaw free porcelain rose or almost white color. Their complexion is rarely marred by acne or dry flakey skin. They also have beautiful hair. Most is jet black and looks very thick. You never see split ends or fly away looking hair. And is almost always stlyed, or put up with some hair accessory. Their dark hair next to their beautiful white skin looks very exotic. Women whose skin shows obvious signs of sun damage are just not pretty. Sun ages a womens skin way beyond their years. Most all Asian women looks as though the have never had their faces expose to the sun a day in their lives. Their skin is always radiant too. I hope this helps. My own opinion is that Asian women are the most beautiful women in the world. You rarely see an Asian women who does not have her make-up on and they almost always are wearing lipstick. It seems they try to always look their best if you now what I mean. And Even if they are not exceptionally pretty, they still have that exotic beauty about them.

I spent a number of years in the military and found that Asian women were raised somewhat to please their man. I don't mean to make that sound sexual by any means. If I was in South East Asia or Japan or one of the islands in the South Pacific, women would tend to make me feel at ease. Cater to a man's needs if you will. It, no doubt has changed since I was there back in the '70's. Personally, I adored the pretty ladies in Thailand and what is now called Ho-Chi-Mihn city.

I've been living in Korea for two years; it's definately changed my perspectives on Asian beauty. I think that the first response is right on--the major aspect of the 'attraction' is the 'exotic' aspect. I was amazed and sort of amused by the number of women in Korea who have surgery to create an eyelid fold to imitate other races. I can tell you that your average Caucasian or Black person is not going to notice one bit if you have or don't have an eyelid fold. Depending on what your nationality is, there are certain things that I find more or less attractive about Asian women... Love the shiney dark, straight hair you see with a lot of Korean and Chinese girls, the different eyeshape, the perfect skin. Also, the girlish sort of slenderness is also very attractive to some foreigners. (Of course, I am talking in generalizations...) On the other hand, I think that Filipinas (some of whom identify as asian), who tend to be a little-to-considerably rounder and curvier, to the point of being plump, and tend to have much stronger facial features, are also sexy. It really, really varies according to the 'foreigner' and what experiences they've had with Asian women. I think the most interesting thing is that many of the features that Korean and Filipina girlfriends of mine have considered really important don't generally matter to foreigners, for example, eyelid folds, pale skin, bigger-or-smaller breasts, lighter colored hair, and the like. We look for the same things in Asian girls as in our 'own' girls--nice skin, nice teeth, well-proportioned figure, sweet smiles, and their own sense of style.

I'm married to a Vietnamese woman, so I'm probably biased on this subject. To me its the eyes and the accent. The eyes are so beautiful and the way they mangle the english language is so adorable. Also they are very open and honest on matters of the heart. And I think the Vietnamese women are the most beautiful of all the asian woman.
