Unless you’re referring to French Canadians, I think they sound pretty much the same as midwesterners, except for a few Scottish pronunciations, e.g., pronouncing “about” – aboot. Just Curious

Some are descendents of planters from France and Spain. There was a lot of interbreeding. Just Curious

I think that Conservatives want to keep the poor from getting a good education (though they would deny it) because educated people have more power and independence and think for themselves. Uneducated people tend to be easy to manipulate and control. Sad, but true. Just Curious

Insecure people are always trying to find somebody to feel superior to. For some reason, making fun of fat people is not considered politically incorrect. I don’t think those jokes are funny, myself. Just Curious

As an English teacher, let me say that if you refer to a direct quote it has to be given EXACTLY as it was written. You may add the historical context for the quote to explain why it doesn’t adhere to p.c. rules of today. You can paraphrase a quote so long as you explain that this is the gist of the idea, not the exact quote. Just Curious

I think that’s a good observation, though I don’t know if scientific studies back that up. People have become so busy and self-absorbed in this country. They view commitments as “giving up freedom”. In general, guys have always wanted to screw around before settling down, if they ever do settle down. Since women don’t withhold sex as much as they did before good birth control, they don’t have as much leverage in a relationship, i.e., don’t give men as much reason to make a commitment. Just Curious

Unfortunately, what you describe is all too common. I grew up in a home where problems were either denied or minimized. When I was young and expressed certain emotions, I was told either “It’s not that bad” or “You shouldn’t feel that way.” It’s called a dysfunctional family – one that doesn’t honestly deal with reality and often leads to alcoholism, gambling, bulimia and other addictions. As an adult I learned that that kind of suppression is very unhealthy. Get counseling! It’s taken me years of counseling to counteract and unlearn those unhealthy denials and bad coping devices. There are also free self-help groups: AA for alcoholics, OA for Overeaters, Al-Anon for people who are friends or family of alcoholics, GA for gamblers who want to quit. Good luck! Just Curiou

I’ve read that blacks in America, even poor blacks live much better than most Africans, where dirt poverty and famine are common. Yes, slavery was a horrible thing, but I agree that it was a long time ago and it’s time for blacks to stop blaming slavery for their every problem. Life is hard and unfair for everyone. Success takes hard work. There are not shortcuts. Look at Obama! Just Curious

America has a cult of youth and beauty. Personality seems almost like an afterthought. If you compare popular singers and actors today to those of 50 years ago, you’ll see that there were more terrific performers long ago who weren’t gorgeous or more handsome than average, but they had talent! Today’s stars seem to put more emphasis on looks than talent, not to say that there are some good looking and talented people. Studies have shown that good looking people get preferential treatment, more job offers, etc. It’s unfair but true. That’s why there’s so much cosmetic surgery. Just Curious

AS long as it “does the job” and your doctors don’t see any physical abnormality, don’t worry about it. As a sexually active female, it’s the personality of the guy and his attitude toward his partner that counts. Just Curious

Even though it seems to make no sense, a lot of women (and men) come from homes where there were neglected, mistreated, criticized, ignored or abused verbally, sexually or physically. Consequently, they have low self-esteem and believe they don’t deserve someone nice. Plus, they think that mean men are “normal” since that’s what they grew up with. If they’re smart enough to get counseling and start to like & respect themselves, they may develop more self esteem. However, most people – men and women – are superficial and guys (and women) with good looks can get away with murder sometimes. I’ve learned that prettiness in men or women lasts only thru the first few dates. If there’s no personality, forget it! Just Curious

There are books on self-pleasuring and probably a slew of stuff on the internet, though it would be hard to separate it from porn. book stores & public libraries in larger cities have these books. It’s natural, but most women are too embarassed to seek this info. Just Curious

I’d say that 6 inches erect is well within the average range, meaning that most men fall into that category. Concentrate more on being a kind, unselfish person who wants to please your partner. Men are more hung up on size than most women. Just Curious

I can’t speak for all buxom women, but I have larger breasts since I’m heavier and proud of ’em! I’m not sure what a “plush vagina” is. If it’s one surrounded by more fat, it might enclose the penis more in certain positions. Don’t know for sure. Since heavier women are looked down on by society (mostly other women), we appreciate men who appreciate us and that adds to our enthusiasm and performance for men like you. Just Curious
