yes it is true you will begin to lactate but as to wether you ask him to stop or not that is your choice ( note if you had nipple peircings the milk duct will most likly be scared closed so lactating could be painful )

You will lactate only if you have had a baby recently. You begin lactation due to hormones, not because someone sucks on your nipples (although if you are lactating, this will cause your milk production to increase). If he likes it and you like it, there is no need to stop. Besides all that, babies suck REALLY HARD-often causing nipples to crack and bleed-and its doubtful you are finding this much hard sucking pleasurable so I would HIGHLY doubt he could trick your body into thinking he is a baby.

He'd have to do it every two hours every day for about a month. Adoptive mothers can breastfeed their babies by pumping their breasts regularly until milk comes in. It has to be done as frequently as a newborn would -- about every two hours. So...doing it once a week or even once a night isn't going to make you have milk.

No. Let him suck. There is a lot more involved with lactation than just the sucking - hormones, etc during pregnancy, post-pregnancy. Perhaps your friend should visit a local health clinic for some general facts of life info. As for you, relax and enjoy it!

Yeah it's true, and only tell him to stop if you don't want to deal with lactation, otherwise alot of couples like it.

Yes, frequent manual stimulation of the nipples either through sexual play or mechanical means like using a breast pump(which is how adoptive moms can breast feed their babies) can cause milk production. Normal sexual stimulation usually does not cause it, but excessive stimulation can. Should you begin to lactate see your doctor to rule out other causes and then either cut back on the stimulation or adjust to the fact that you will lactate until you stop the excessive stimulation. There is no harm in this type of lactating.

It is not true that sucking on a breast will make a person lactate. Your body does not produce lactating stimulating hormone because a boyfriend is sucking on your breasts. The hormone is produced during late pregnancy and after term. Since you like him sucking on your breasts, let him, especially if it gets you off.

A woman will only produce milk with a hormone from her body that can be produced during pregnancy and afterwards or artificially with pills from a doctor.

You would have to be pregnant and have the right chemicals in your body to stimulate lactation.

How long does he do this? Are we talking a few seconds at a time during foreplay or an extended amount of time like a few minutes or more? If so, I'd be more concerned about his mindset. He may be in the beginning stages of substituting you for his mother. If it's only a few seconds during foreplay, I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy the pleasure you're receiving.

No, absolutely not. Lactation only occurs when your body is flooded with hormones either from the placenta separating from your uterus (giving birth) or if you are pregnant sometimes you can start lactating before the birth. Without those hormones your boyfriend can play all he wants and you needn't worry.

Yes, having your partner stimulate your nipples can bring on lactation, but it takes a LONG time to happen....like 30 minute sessions 6 times a day kind of long. Some women and their partners attempt to bring on lactation before adopting, some just do it for fun!

Where do you get this theory from? You can't make an assumption like that based just on the length of time a person indulges in breast play.

As far as pierced nipples making it harder to breast feed -- nothing could be farther from the truth! The areola tissue heals differently from other piercings. It actually allows the milk to flow easier! (please remove jewelry as it is a choking hazard) I can speak from experience. I had my nipples pierced for 2 years before I was pregnant, & successfully breast fed for 5 months. I suppose it would be possible for scar tissue to cause problems, if the piercing itself did not heal properly. Please do your research before making such an obtuse statement.
