Honey, you're hanging out with the wrong guys. Sure, there are guys like that, but if they're selfish in that area, they're usually selfish in other areas. There are many guys who enjoy foreplay (or pretend to). Also, many men learn about sex from porn (which lacks foreplay) and they think this reflects real sex. If you take the time & effort to teach them about foreplay, you'll be rewarded Just Curious

I'm also a middle-age Jewish woman. I'm not sure oppression is the key factor here. I think education is the key. Throughout the ages, Jews have placed a great deal of emphasis on literacy and education. Most astonishing is that this has always applied to females. Education leads to higher paying jobs and greater success. The American Blacks who have succeeded notably (outside of athletics, rap music and show business) have one thing in common - a good education. This includes Condoleeza Rice, Colin Powell, and Barak Obama. First and second generation Asians in America seem to succeed well out of proportion to their numbers. Education is also stressed in their cultures. However, many Asian immigrants have succeeded here in businesses (restaurants, service & professio

YOu are wrong to assume that women "in shape" always make better lovers & that fat women can't perform well in bed. Aside from the physical aspect of "performing," what makes a a good lover in and out of bed is someone who is unselfish, loving, affectionate and wants to please his/her partner. All the gymnastic screwing in the world can't compensate for lack of that. I am a white woman, attractive and have been overweight most of my adult life. I stay well-proportioned (smaller waist) with exercise. My boyfriend, 25 years younger, pursued me! He is very thin. He loves my ample, rounded breasts and behind. Though I can't do aerobics like Jane Fonda, I am just as frisky, active and full of stamina as I was when thinner and younger. Not quite as agile, but compensate with great gus

I keep a pack of baby wipes near my toilet. After each BM, I fold wipe inhalf around one finger & clean outside & inside as far as my finger will reach. Fresh & No more skid marks, either.

Rachel, I'm also from St. Louis, fit your demographic & agree with you 100%. If the Arab countries care so much about the Palestinians, why don't they bring them in and give them asylum? Why should Israelis negotiate at all with Palestinians? Each time Israel acceed to a Palestinian demand, they get nothing in return but more violence. BTW, I have the same questions you do about men, foreplay & other issues. It's probably significant that you've received no response to those questions.

I've studied the bible for decades with professors who can read the Old Testament in the original Hebrew and Aramaic. premarital sex is NOT PROHIBITED in the Old Testament. Adultery AND VARIOUS FORMS OF incest ARE PROHIBITED, but not premarital sex. If you want to convince me I'm wrong, give me the exact book, chapter & verse that supports your claim, as well as the translation of your bible. Where is that exact quotation? There are a lot of incorrect translations and distorted interpretations preached by those with their own private agenda.

If it's true that whenever we step outside of God's will we get into trouble with unwanted pregnancies, STDs, etc., by that reasoning, God must love lesbians best because they never have unwanted pregnancies and they also have the lowest percentage of AIDS and other STDS. (I am not a lesbian, myself.) Furthermore, there are plenty of married, God-fearing women who have unwanted pregnancies and some of the other problems you describe. Some of what you say is valid; the rest sounds like preaching without facts to support it.

You'll find out what's so wonderful about it when you have an affectionate, caring partner who takes time with foreplay and wants to please you. there has to be some level of commitment to the relationship, though you don't have to be madly in love. Love makes it much better. It's the physical conversation between two people who each want to please their partner and in the process, everyone's a winner. With guys who skip foreplay, want only a one-night stand and are totally into themselves, forget it. It's not worth it.

I'm a middle-age female & wondered exactly the same thing. I was shocked to learn that more than one guy considered me a tease because we petted, etc. and didn't go all the way. My male counselor suggested that if a woman explicity tells a man upfront that there's to be no intercourse or ***job, it's OK. I'd like to get men's reaction to that?

I've taken many many Torah classes (Old testament) and have never heard of a prohibition against premarital sex. It's important to remember that many girls married very young, soon after their first period. The idea of sex (other than adultery, rape, incest) as dirty or sinful seems to be a Christian invention. Those who believe that sex was the "Original Sin" forget that God's first commandment to Adam & Eve was: "Be fruitful and multiply".

I'm a middle aged female & often read on the toilet. I keep a stash of magazines, catalogs, Dilbert books, etc. there. My dad often read on the toilet for long periods of time because, I suspect, it was the only place where he was undisturbed or hassled by my mother.

I'm Jewish and Jews have always placed a great emphasis on education, including higher education. The Asians I know say the same is true of their background. More education often leads to more opportunities, hence greater success.

Depends on how I feel about the guy. The best way for a guy to broach the subject with a woman is by saying something like, "I think about you a lot" or "I dream of you sometimes". Both are romantic, potentially. If she picks up on it and says, "What exactly do you think about?" take it slow until her responses indicated that she wants to hear about sexual details; otherwise the response is probabaly "Ewww!"

Totally depends on who the guy is. If it's someone I'm in an established relationship, it can be flattering. If it's someone who's hit on me that I have no interest in - shut up!

I am a female with many gay friends (I'm in theatre). The gay men who enjoy the friendship of women aren't out to impress us or prove anything, so they can be more comfortable around us. My theory is that a lot of straight guys are so hung up on their hetero-sex drive, they can't feel completely comfortable and hang loose around any women whom they find attractive - just my theory. Whadda ya think guys?
