It doesn’t exactly say word for word that you should be married to have sex… its just how you interperet it.

Since I went to a military academy for a while, I found out that the main reason why that is continued is because so many people have common names. You call out ‘John’ for morning roll, and four of them will pipe up. But when you call out ‘Laughlin’ only one will, or rarely two. (never seen that happen before)

I’ve noticed… it depends on who you ask, and when.

perhaps the reason is that you messed up the first time they passed the ball to you, so they just don’t run the risk anymore (not saying that you are bad… you had to be good to get a scholarship for it).

in reply to: Do men get groped? #41842

Ever since I got past 10th grade (apparently I became sexy then) I have gotten cat calls, gotten grouped (which I will admit is not very fun) had many sexual remarks made and such. No clue why they do such weird things, especially when I shy away from it (especially the grouping). I dislike it when guys do it, although I am sure that I have done catcalls before. There was a girlfriend that I met because unconsciouly when she walked by I whistled. My friends and I don’t do it much, more often than not we just point the out and go, ‘hey, she’s hot’ ‘yea she is… looking good’ and thats it. If a man starts following a pretty lady that I am looking at, I keep watching, probably because I am protective of women (even if I don’t know them) and so I am rather worried when a guy starts following them. Most of the time the guy goes away, but you never know what could happen. My suggestion would be to attempt to ignore it as it will not cease for a while yet.

I personally think that the reason that the teens in question (note: not all teens are like that) because they feel that they can. Since you are asian, they might have a prejudice against you (for what reason, I don’t know) and so they are taking it out on your store. Another possible reason that I can think of is because they weren’t raised to respect other people’s property. Seems to me like those actions belong back at the age of three or so.

probably for the same reason that people want to push people into religions they don’t want. As for being parents, perhaps they think you would make a good mother. Why don’t you ask them? ‘Why do you feel the need in persisting in pressuring me to have kids when I have made it clear that I do not want any?’

in reply to: Why do they fight in Iraq? #29518

I’ve found that whenever you separate a group of people (for instance the whole world) into us and them you will get fighting. Whether the seperation is based on color, gender, religion (like it is in Iraq and the current never ending conflict with Israel and Palestine), geographical location etc. Haven’t you noticed that its not very often that you see a group of friends get into a serious fight with themselves? It is always against someone else. Us and them… it ruins the world.

in reply to: Military equal rights? #28850

Personally, I believe that it is the society’s standards, as well as tests shown. The military will not allow women in combat (which I am sure that you know) and the selective service was primarily designed for a massive need of military fighting power… which still means men. I think that women should be able to go into combat, so long as they can pass the same tests that males can. What do you think?

That one depends on the guy and what personally turns him on.
