The main thing is the inhumane killing of innocent people, neglecting our rights and the feeling of being controlled. I believe that even if maybe we're only indirectly affected, there will come a day when we will be the direct victims and it will be my family and friends at stake. These general reasons affect us all personally and we are all one (Middle East , Muslims and the world). If one of us is hurt , we all cry.

I'll give you an example of how prophet Muhammed didn't promote killing. He was hated by all those people in Mecca who didn't want to believe him, and then he went to another city to get away from all the 'kufar' (people who didn't believe him and wanted to kill him) as they were torturing Muslims badly and stopping him from spreading his message. He went to the other city and stayed there for 2 years, during which he made a peace settlement with the kufar. After a while the kufar contradicted what they had agreed upon, so prophet Muhammed decided to 'open' Mecca, meaning to go into it with the army and all.. When they got there, the kufar got scared and didn't keep together, so the Muslims entered Mecca without any fighting. Then Muhammed stood in front of the 'keeba' (the black mosque Muslims go to in Mecca) to state what he was going to do with the kufar. They all expected him to kill them or ask for really high ransoms, but he said, "Go, for you are now free." I think this is proof of his not being violent, for these people had tortured him and his followers beyond belief and killed lots of people, and he just let them go. I know I wouldn't have done that.

here are some small stories ,you can call them incidents, showing how prophet muhammed wasn't a violent man and ,actually, how kind hearted he was: to understand the first story ,muslims perform certain motions while praying one of which is 'sojood' which is sitting on your hands and knees with your face on the ground , so while prophet muhammed was in 'sojood' his little nephews(their names are el-hassan & el-husayn) rode on his back ,they were playing, so muhammed stayed in sojood until they got off his back ,he didn't get up anyway, throw them off, wriggle to get them off or shout or hit them afterwards. another story: while muhammed was walking in the streets ,he saw a man (named abo masood el badry)hitting the boy who works for him ,prophet muhammed then told him angrily 'know abo masood that God has mors power on you than you have on that boy' so the man said'oh prophet of allah ,i free him now for allah's sake' and prophet muhammed told him 'if you hadn't done that hell would have 'slapped'(i can't find a better translation for the arabic word:( ) you'. these are stories from the ordinary life of prophet muhamed,he also told us of stories of taking care of animals like this one' a woman is in hell because of a cat,she caged her ,not giving her food nor letting her eat from the ground' and another one'while a man was walking ,he got very thirsty ,so when he found a well he went down ,drank then came up agian,he then saw a dog that was very thirsty also so he went down again ,filled his shoes with water and came up and let the dog drink,so God forgave him from his sins' when prophet muhammed said this story the people hearing him asked him 'do we get rewarded for animals?' he said'you get rwarded for every living being' ..if this is how he treated animals and said they'd be treated ,wouldn/t he treat humans at least like them ,even better? these are some small stories i wnted to say ,they're all translated from arabic to english by me so i hope i was as clear as i can get:) i'd also like to make it clear that by saying that prophet muhamed wasn't a violent man ,i'm still also saying that prophet moses and jesus are also not violent like him ,they were all sent from God and all set an example for love. i also said the names in my stories so that if you'd want to ask about them and wether the stories are true or not.

did you deserve it? no not civilians but maybe some of the decision makers that impose their american control on other countries especially here in the middle east, those who support racist killings of innocent civilians of palestine and those who want to shut everyone who's not acting for american interests up.should you have seen it coming? defenitly ,how america treats other COUNTRIES who never asked for help and how other human rights other than americans' are neglected surely forecastes such acts and provokes such hatred. what should you do about it ? protest against international discrimination, war on iraq, racism and killing of palastinians, support of israel only then there'll be no such justified hatred.

you've got the jewish side and the christian side ,here's the muslim side:) we belive that jesus is a prophet sent by God to the people of that time to tell them of God and teach them how to worship him and thank him,he wasn't sent for purifying sins because each person is responsible for his own actions and he has to ask God for forgivness and God will forgive him ,also there's no original sin of adam as in islam ,after he ate from the tree, and God let him down on earth ,adam asked for His forgivness and he was forgived. so in a nutshell ,we belive jesus is a man chosen by God to be a prophet,God didn't send him to be killed and he is merciful and caring of everyone as he made us and wants us to be best,in the koran (our holy book)it says that God didn't ,and never will , ask you to do what you can't ,and in another verse:ask God for forgivness and he will forgive you these aren't exact translations but they are the meanings of the verses

in the koran theres a verse that i'll try to translate now: you will find out that the most people who are friendly to muslims are the christians because between them you'll find priests and men of religion and because they are modest. of course this is my own very unproffesional translation but it serves the purpose to show that muslims don't hate christians at all , but anyone can hate a certain person who has harmed him in any way regardless wether he is a christian or not

this is me again ,i told you about the prophet entering mecca ,first ,i said i'll tell you the exact incident were the 'kufar ' didn't do what they had agreed upon here goes: in the agreement, they had agreed that any tribe to be in any of either the muslim's or the kufar's protection enters the peace agreement and neither party should attack the other, then two tribes that were at war together ,one entered muslim protection and the other entered kufar protection, the tribe of the kufar took advantage of this peace agreement and decided to attack the other one at night ,helped by some members of the kufar themselves and they did,so next day when prophet muhamed knew the kufar sent a messenger to try to talk to prophet muhamed but he wouldn't talk to him and he started to get ready to go open mecca. this is the story when the kufar didn't go with their peace agreement. secondly , i just wanted to ask you about those specific incidents that Rev. Jerry Fallwell related his statments about prophet muhammed to so that i can answer you back on those specificly because i didn't watch the show as i don't have that channel.thanks again for caring enough to ask:)

i'll tell you a story that may make this clearer: if somebody offered you a box full of candy ,some of it was wrapped and branded and some wasn't wrapped at all ,which would you choose? most people would choose the wrapped candy because it's sealed from any microbes in the atmosphere and because it's protected from anything harmful and you're sure you are the only one who ate this candy, noone chewed it or has taken a piece before you.this is the same as covering yourself, your then protected from anything from the outside ,anyone who sees you will know you haven't been touched by another man ,none has tried you before and you'll be solely for your husband. that's the part relating to marriage. another thing is that through covering yourself'wearing a viel' you are protecting others from thinking badly, you aren't 'selling' yourself to the public, men won't be inclined to feel attracted to you unless they like your will or your way of thinking and they'll either want to marry you or just be friends, they won't want to 'take you to bed'! i'll tell you another story: if you've got a bowl of your favorite food ,you'll want to keep it away from others so you could eat it and enjoy it,so you'll cover it and hide it somewhere until you want it,women are these favorite foods of men ,so God told us to cover ourselves so that only one man who knows our worth will uncover us and taste us and enjoy us (our husband)! so when covering yourself your taking the best from people and your giving others the best of you too. about covering the face or not .it's said in the quran that we should cover our bodies ,but some poeple say you should cover your face and some say your face and hands can show ,this is just a matter of belife, it's known though that if you're very beatiful and if any man looked at you will be atrracted to you you should cover your face because then you'd be making them want you otherwise , people don't agree on wether or not you SHOULD cover your face..i'm a muslim by the way and i cover myself but i'don't cover my face.i hope my answer satisfies you and please tell me if you want to ask about anything
