As Elaine on Seinfeld said, 'I don't know how you guys walk around with those things!' Dan, I don't understand why you would want your genitals to flop around unencumbered, especially running. Another question while we're on the subject of male genitals: Why are men always playing 'pocket pool'? It's disgusting. Do you have to keep checking to see if it's still there, or is a masturbatory thing?

The are many places to start learning about Paganism/Wicca. The internet is full of wonderful sites that you can access. Just type in Wicca or Paganism. But if you want books to read, I suggest the books by Scott Cunningham. He wrote books that were easy to understand, but didn't talk down to his readers. As for attending a 'church'...As with all religions, that's up to you. There are many Wiccans out there that are happy to be solitaries, which means you don't belong to a coven, and you worship on your own. And on the other hand there are people that prefer a coven. I can't remember what the letters stand for, but if you type in CUUPS on your computer, you should be able to pull up this Pagan/Wiccan group.(it's a recognized church) Good luck and Blessed Be

While I can't speak for the whole 'white' race, I will explain my stance with my feline children. I have found that I prefer the company of non-human animals to human animals most of the time because non human animals do not judge you on your appearance, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, etc, etc. I have had people whom I thought I could be friends with,(at first) treat me like shit, just because I didn't believe the way they do. My cats love me because I treat them with respect and love. Non human animals do not go around murdering, raping, or hurting others of their kind just cause they don't feel good about themselves. They also don't kill other species just to see what it's like to kill or hurt another. (future serial killers are known to start with torturing non human animals when they're children) Now what I don't understand is why so many Black people are afraid of cats?

I do not feel that disease can ever be eradicated. Nature abhors a vacuum. Humans have wiped out one disease, but another one pops up. Modern medicine is out of control with antibiotics (ABTS). Doctors give out ABTS like candy for complaints because they don't want to be bothered. I work with the elderly and everytime someone gets a cold, (a VIRUS) they're given an ABT, which does nothing but lower the body's natural defense system, so when they get really sick, nothing works. This is the fault of the patients and their families too. I've had a lot of elderly people come up to me and ask, 'Can I have a pill?' They don't care what it's for, as long as it's a pill, which I guess they think is MAGIC. The families are sometimes just as bad. 'Mother's got the sniffles, call the doctor and get her something!' And they won't listen to logic. I guess this is why war is a good thing. It's the only population control method that's accepted by all cultures. I just hate how it wipes out the environment and innocent non human animals. Unfortunately humans will never stop breeding. 'It's my God given right!!!' And then if they can't do it on their own, they go to a doctor who makes it possible to produce a litter. Again, modern medicine is out of control. I knew a woman who, when she became a doctor, was going to go to India, to help with the sick. I asked her why didn't someone teach about birth control. She told me that it's against their religion. ????? And dying of starvation because there are too many people isn't?

There are a lot of Wiccan/Pagan sites on the web, so just type in Wicca or Pagan. My favorite publication is Sagewoman; it's a bi-monthly magazine that is a woman-only forum, and there are many black women who write in to it. I know they do have a web site, and you can find it on the magazine stand at the more progressive bookstores. Try Borders or Bookstop. When I read Sagewoman, I feel so close to the Goddess, and full of love for Her. Contact me through my e-mail and I can send you an e-mail list for Sagewoman. Blessed Be

I believe that in the days the bible was being written that the message was for breeders, so Gays were told to quit it and go find yourself a nice straight person. I know there had to be a lot of frustrated Gay people back then. So, anyway, nowadays the biblical message is used by bigots who don't practice what they preach. Didn't Jesus say to love everyone? (That is if he did exist) email me and I'll send you a tongue in cheek Q & A about the messages found in the bible.

I fully agree with you. What kind of egomanical god would require someone to murder their child to prove their faith? Christians go on and on about how 'Jesus died for your sins', and then say the Jews killed him. ????? The message I've received over the years is his FATHER murdered him. This is a loving god????? Don't expect me to embrace christianity in this lifetime. How can people embrace a 'religion' that was used to oppress and murder their ancestors?!?!? I asked someone once why if god is so powerful, why does he allow the devil to do what he does, and his response was along the lines of,'God wants you to choose who you love most'. That's like your mother allowing your father to verbally, physically, emotionally, and sexually abuse you so you'll choose her over him. I just can't understand how if this philosophy is a loving religion why did the early missionaries kill and torture to spread their message? How did this religion ever get so popular? I don't know who said it, but I have this posted on my bulletin board:'Any religion or philosophy which is based on the fear of being tortured for eternity because of some godling's displeasure is psychologically diseased'

Until I was in my late 30s, I considered myself Atheist/Agnostic, because of the messages I got from so-called christians, who did not practice what they preached. And I just couldn't make myself swallow the whole Jesus story, etc. Since I've been a feminist since birth, the idea of a male deity was not one I could accept either. I started reading about Wicca and found that the 'Gods of Old' were more to my liking. I have always been an animal rights person too, and Paganism/Wicca is very animal rights friendly. I have found a lot of inner peace since I accepted the Goddess. It took me a loooooong time to allow myself to pray to Her. I had always considered the acceptance and reliance on a Deity a lack of strength. So many positive things have happened since my acceptance of the Goddess. I must share this story with you. A few years back we were hit by a fierce hail storm that sent people to the hospital and caused major windshield and car damage. The cars parked on either side of mine were badly damaged, but mine was untouched. Then a few days later, another storm threatened and my coworkers put their cars in the parking garage...I chose not to, and the storm blew over. My supervisor said to me, 'Maybe there's something to this Pagan thing.' There is!!! Blessed Be

Even though there are those who do ride them, in the medical community they are known as "donorcycles." This is because there is no protection in accidents. The drivers of both cars and bikes cut each other off, and the bikers weave in and out of traffic like it's a slolum. Here in Texas they passed a helmet law, but a few years later it was repealed. Gee, just what we need - more brain-damaged people 'living' in nursing homes at taxpayers' expense. I wouldn't ride one for any amount of money.

I think I would sit him down and explain how these magazines degrade women and how they make you feel. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, because then he'd feel drawn to them because they're forbidden. Remember how we used to go out of our way when something was off limits? I'd tell him that it's normal to be curious, but this is not the way to do it. Our society needs some of the male population to quit seeing us as T and A.

I'd like to ask another question: Supposedly, Noah took two of every animal onto the ark. How much time did he have to gather up all these animals? The gender of some animals is almost impossible to tell, so how did he do this, and what did he feed the carnivores if he had only two of each species? I sure wouldn't want to be with all of those different carnivores for 40 days without anything to feed them. (This alone proves that someone didn't think their stories through before sending them to the editor.)

Also, as Bill Cosby points out, who got to clean up the bottom of the boat? That's a lot of poop! I've also noticed that no one has answered my question about the facial characteristics of the different races.

If someone can afford to have a perfectly healthy tooth destroyed and covered with gold, why can't they afford to have their teeth fixed? Bad dental health is not obviously a black thing. Look at a what is commonly referred to as "white trash." I've seen a lot of these women with horrible teeth and sculpted nails. Is it that their priorities are a little screwed up? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that they would waste all that money on making their hands pretty, but their teeth look terrible.

Crystal, please don't let other people make this kind of decision for you. If you don't want kids, then stick to your convictions. I have been berated and verbally attacked for not wanting kids, and have stuck to my guns. I have never wanted them and have never regretted it. I too have worked in many a nursing home and the majority of the residents might get a visit at x-mas time, otherwise they're ignored by their kids. There are a couple of websites you might enjoy:www.fred.net/turtle/kids/kid2 and childfree.com. There are too many people on this earth now and the poor planet is suffering because of it. More people need to chose to not breed. I see a lot of people who have kids because it's expected, not because they want them, then they're neglected, or abused. Again, please don't let anyone pressure you into it. Believe me, you're not missing a thing.

I have never seen this enough to think of it as a 'white thing'. I don't understand the no shoes-no service thing. I think feet are a lot cleaner than shoes. The one thing I've noticed when it comes to a racial/footwear issue is Black people wearing slippers out in public. I'm sure it's for comfort, but why not get a comfortable pair of street shoes. I've also noticed a lot of Black people will break down the backs of perfectly good shoes to wear them as slip-ons.

There are some male doctors that sexually abuse their patients, but I hope they're a rare breed. I prefer going to a female doctor, cause they know what it's like being in those stirrups, and hopefully are more compassionate. They also know how sensitive female breasts are. I always think of 'in the old days' when women were told by male ob docs that having a baby wouldn't hurt, and PMS and menopause weren't physical. 'It's all in your head honey.' I have heard that med students are still being taught that women's complaints and ailments are not to be taken seriously, whereas men's are. I prefer a woman doctor all the way around. I chose a woman when I can.
