I had a relationship with an older woman and found the hostility of her children difficult to cope with. I couldn't treat them as kids (they were not much younger than I) and I couldn't treat them as siblings - I was sleeping with their mother. I suspect your mix of feelings is due to uncertainty over this woman's role (mother or sister). You're not really concerned for her future, are you? There are no easy solutions to this one, but do have patience.

I suspect you are putting out over-subservient body language. Men will not be aggressive to a woman, but a man who is servile is a target. Most of them are probably unaware they are doing it. As the song says, 'Walk like a man, talk like a man, my son!'

I think the cards sentimentalize grannies because thay are written by grown-ups remembering their childhood experiences. An old woman who you associate with holidays and sweets is likely to be seen through rose-tinted glasses. It could be that your child will grow up tougher and more capable because of her crotchety gran.

I have not been groped, but I have experienced a great deal of unwanted attention. This has taken the form of semi-aggressive stares, movements and badly veiled comments. Though this is not sexual in origin (at least probably not by intent) and more to do with social stigmatization, I have drawn some comfort from the notion that I am experiencing something women have had to put up with since time immemorial. The effect on my psyche has been quite devastating.

I agree with the assessment of culture-specifity. However, attractiveness IS in the eye of the beholder. And pots of cash is a tur-on in anybody's books.

I used to visit the Harare municipal swimming pool in Zimbabwe. Pre-revolution, the pool was of course whites-only. Nowadays it is used by white and black alike, but the blacks there were almost all younger-generation - presumably their parents couldn't swim because they were denied access to pools in their formative years. By the way, it was extremely amusing to see the overweight, over-rich South African whites being splashed (much to their displeasure) by the 'kaffir kids.'

I don't know about the guys you meet, but I have been, on occasion, too shy to talk to a girl. This problem gets much worse if she's really attractive. Why not make the first move ? It can't be any harder for you than for him !

Though your answer is not wrong, it does miss the point - the question was about domination, not control. In mixed social situations the men dominate, with the tacit cooperation of the women. So to women: aren't you being too soft on the males? Don't you think you could fight harder for domination?

Could the question be turned round (and made more interesting); What behaviours alert you to a person being 'marksworthy' ?

I have the desire to ejaculate on my girlfriend's face (she is beautiful, with very erotic features) - but she says she would find it 'humiliating.' I suspect she's right - it's a power thing. It does guarantee your husband is not fantasizing about another woman, though, so it's not all bad.

I would like to know the source of the 'evidence' you site. The 'homosxuality gene' discovered in the late '90s has been thoroughly debunked. Can you give a reference for your claim?

I am not a doctor; if you are worried, that would be the person to ask. My guess is that herpes is the only disease possible to be transmitted to you, unless you have cuts or abrasions and your partner has ulcers, in which case there would be a possibility of blood-to-blood contamination.

Only in Western countries is it usual to use dedicated toilet tissue for anal ablutions (washings). Asian countries (including, I guess, the Middle East) mostly use water. This ensures a thorough cleaning, eliminating the 'klingons' and 'widgets' that plague Western behinds.

You say you have above average test scores, and are in every way average!!! What was that about drivel ? In answer to your question, I suspect many people post on the internet in order to elicit the responses they desire; for instance people who deliberately invite abuse are known as 'trolls'.
