I would say that while there are some lesbians who are offended by the idea of stripping for money, there are also those of us who aren't. To be honest, I would love to go to a strip club but would only go with a group of friends because I'd be concerned about being harrassed by male patrons. There are a couple of lesbian strip clubs in LA and NYC, but none here in DC that I know of.

I am not willing to believe in something unless I see valid, scientific proof. Both of my parents were scientists and taught me not to assume, but to question. Emotions are generated in part by chemical reactions in the human brain. However great love may make you feel, the existence of the emotion we call 'love' does not prove that there is some entity called 'God.'

I have very pale skin and my ancestors are northern European, which makes me extremely prone to sunburn, so I do talk about sunblock sometimes with my coworkers and friends. I guess it's always kind of interesting to me to find out who burns and who doesn't--it's not always who you'd expect based on their skin tone. Tanning was definitely a big deal when I was in college and high school, and some people (only whites? don't know) think a tan is 'healthy', even though it's linked to an increased risk of skin cancer.

This is actually a religious question, rather than one of race or ethnicity. The dot is usually worn by Hindu women, although some Buddhists also wear it. Men wear the tilak for ceremonial occasions, including marriage and on certain holidays. When my male friend was in the Peace Corps in Nepal, they had a going-away party in which he was virtually covered in the powder typically used to make the dot (think of kids having a food fight---he said it was very joyous and raucous).

With me, it's more of a fidgety thing than anything else. It's definitely NOT related to sexual stimulation. I find that if I keep my legs crossed for a long time and I don't fidget, my legs get numb. It may also be related to height. I'm about 5'3' and my feet rarely rest on the ground comfortably, hence the fidgeting. I expect most men are taller, so they don't have this problem.
