Historically, women are the genders of america who enjoy gossiping and becoming so interested in whats hot and whats not! I wouldn't say its a woman thing because men gossip to just not to the extent that we do. Actually people think all guys talk about is sports and sex..not at all... Gossiping and being vicious haters are very extreme..when a group of women sit around and talk about other women that is an insensitive, immature act of isecurities they struggle within themselves... The only benefit of extreme gossiping where it talks about other people is sometimes people have nothing else to talk about because they lack good conversation so talking about others is what gets their blood flowing..also it takes away the focus of their own personal imperfections.

Unfortunately when a female thinks that a male is only out for sex it is a barrier she places between herself and men based on past experiences or the neglect of a "good" man in her life. Therefore she views men as "dogs" and their very purpose is to get some. So to her men are the bad guys and even if they appear to be nice they have other underlying intentions. Men are oblivous to this because they are the victimizers when it comes to relationships most of the time. It is just a guard. My advice is to continue to be yourself and if you absolutely do not have intentions on having sex with her, then things will work out.

I don't think you should generalize all black people based on what one of your friends do. The amount of shoes a person buys is a personal desire it has nothing to do with what color their skin is. I think thats a status thing..not a color thing..

I'm not sure I would say an issue with lighter women..I think they mean mugs and stares come from the fact that to their eyesight you are a white woman with a black man..I don't know how you look but obviously although you are biracial you may look more cacausian...and yes some black women have issues with black men and white women because unfornately in the african-american race our men are either career criminals, locked up, or no good so the few we have are taken and they aren't being occupyed by black women....nexrt time you get a cold look why don't you ask her whats on her mind...you can get an honest answer.

"Nigga" did derive from the word "nigger" but it was made into something positive from an African-american rapper named Tupac Shakur. He turned a word so negative and demeaning into something positiive. "Nigga" means never ignorant getting goals accomplished. And I'm sure when it is said they are not saying it with the "er" Also today when I hear people say "nigga" They are referring to men as a gender, especially when women say it and not men as a color. Its an understanding that we have within the race...I just would like to tell you and the rest who seem to be so curious on why we still use it that you will never understand...curiousity killed the cat....just don't you ever say it.

in reply to: Why do black people like Chinese food so much? #22056

    Brittany

You just answered your own question...its good, quick, and inexpensive..I don't think its necessarily the chinese food..because if you are referring to the carryoit they don't just sell the traditional chines food like Kobe's or P.F Changs...they sell steak and cheese, hamburgers, fried chicken(chinese style of course lol)...and also if you go through various neighborhoods its always a chinese carryout versus an greek or middle easterm...again not a color thing its an access thing and a personal desire... Trust me if people knew what chinese food really was I don't think there would be any more establishments...lets just say if you see a rat running around in an alley for a couple of days he won't be running around to long...and I have proof and history facts...

Hisotricaaly, black people aren't necessarily used to the finer things of life so once we are able to afford them..we tend to want to keep up with the jones's. However..I do not agree with renting a place of residence and driving an Cadillac, Bentley, or Lexus. Although, how do you know what types of homes blacks are going to? If you are basing this on your associates that is not everyone....it is quite ignorant to generalize such an issue. It is simply a choice people make...a home is an invesment if you own it...as long as you are not renting I shouldn't matter what type of car a person drives....Its a matter of finances and order of priorities...not a black thing..a priority thing

Its called ghetto fabulous?? Exactly what does that mean? I don't see anything wrong with taking pride in your physical apperance...the long, outstanding nails, that is unattractive..but who are you to speak on about the two things black women are about? Have you dated a black woman..or spoken with a black women before..well you re talking to one now and those are not the two things we only care about...

You don't know what triflint is until you look in the mirror and realize your very accusations are unfair. How is having long nails disgusting? Hopefully they are nicely done and look very artisitc...would you rather them be short, stubby and have dirt in them and see all the imperfections in them? Which is more disgusting

Most women who put braids in their babies hair usually wait unitl they are sleep and I am pretty sure they are not tugging and pulling to the point of discomfort. According to mothers who have done this when you brush, comb, or braid an infants hair it stimulates growth...Its not to necessarily look stylish..and putting braids in a childs her is not an act against love...if this bothers you so much..don't put plaits in your babies hesd.

You seem so curious about blacks why don't you associate yourself with them and find out why they people you see like this may appear this way...and the braids if you are talking about extentions they may be what I call suffering from new growth. We do not wash our hair everyday like whtie people because the texture of our hair is different..with the lint..maybe they were rolling around in the carpet!!! You know what I mean..Trust me if you see them like that one day not very long after are they scheduling a hair appointment.lol...dang girl...black people really fascinate you...

First how the hell do you know how far they are travelling? Lol. There are Blacks in predominantly white neighborhoods..just because you can't see them..and from experience when I shop in stores that are placed in predominantly white neighborhoods..the supply is of more quality. For example the produce section will have the fresher vegetables and fruits. With the clothing stores..you all may have all the name brands whereas we will just have DKNY versus Donna Karen....whether its larger or not the quality is always better..

Girl what do you know? Obviously nothing because you think you know the answers to everything and why a particular race does something.Have you sat down and talked to a black man with a fat, white woman and asked him why he is with her..White people are not superior to anyone..especially not black people since that is societys thoughts...so a black man does not have to date a white woman to have power..they have power without them..so essesntially you are a racist because you evidently think your people are superior to mine. According to you if you are black date a white and they think they are powerful..Not at all..its simply an attraction and sometimes a sex thing...people have different reasons..what you think is fat and ugly someone else may think is beautiful..some black men date whit
