Hmmm…there are approx. 40 million Black people in the USA. You just stated that 99% of “Black people” do something…You mean to tell me you know more than 39 million Blacks?? Yea, didn’t think so. See what happens with generalizations? You wind up looking stupid. Ever thought about the fact that maybe THOSE individuals jumped in? That their Black skin had little to do with it? Or is all you saw their skin color and not their individuality??

Many, many Black women adopt a “straight hair” style that is not “in their cultural realm” ( you DO realize that most Blacks do not have naturally straight hair, right?). Interesting that when blacks adopt a style that is “mostly white” it is seen as normal, but when white people adopt a “black” style, it is seen as strange. People take styles from all different cultures all the time…it is personal choice. Whites have a right to wear their hair in whatever style they choose, same as Blacks. Please remember, we are all suppossed to be ONE “culture”….AMERICAN!

Some prefer Black and others African-American. Most that I know could give a flip either way. I prefer Black personally. It is not offensive to me at all…I am proud to be a Black American. As long as whites are not trying to be nasty or anything…Black is A-OK with me!

You DO realize that is why Black organizations/schools/ect started…don’t you? Whites would not let us into their organizations and schools, so we started our own. Now that whites have wised up and agree to let Blacks in…we are suppossed to close down all of our orgs that helped us make it to where we are?? We are just suppossed to say, “We dont want you now..WHITE PEOPLE have let us in..whoopie!!” ? Please!
