Is it ok to call an African American 'Black'. I know that sounds silly, but I have never been sure if it is a politically correct name or not. Thanks

Most "African Americans" (myself included) call themselves "Black". I honestly know not one Black person who refers to themselves or other Blacks as African American...that is mostly a white thing.
