1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantIf I have something to say and want everyone to hear it, whether they want to or not, I’m going to say it as loud as I want to. If you didn’t like what you heard, disregard the comment and keep steppin’. It’s not a case of ‘all black people are loud,’ because they aren’t. Some are loud, just like some whites are. But whoever said ‘loudness’ is a quality of one race?

1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantKey word: MOVIES. Do you believe everything you see in movies?? You should research and ask question before you go justifying ‘why’ people do things that they do. You should never pin point an act on a race or community just because that is what you saw in a movie?? That’s silly and idiotic. I live in st.louis I don’t see it where I stay and I live in ‘tha hood’ (since u went there).

1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantJ. Lo really doesn’t even have a ‘fat ass’ she just has hips and a little fatty tissue to make all the other famous actresses and musician look like they have no asses. Since she flaunts around with skimpy clothing on, of course we will all notice that her hips are a lot wider than what we are used to seeing. That just goes to show how the media and tabloids alters our thinking about image. Jennifer Lopez is 1 of millions of women who have wide hips. Does she deserve the butt of the year award?? If you wanna talk about big butts…check out a picture of the rap artist Trina, AND then make that comment. She represents for all the women who thick in the backside. That is what u call ‘ba doonk ka doonk’!!

1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantYou want to hook up with black guys because that is what you’re attracted to. Everyone has different attractions, that is why people hook up with the ones that they ARE attracted to. There is nothing wrong with that. It’s just what you feel inside. Whether it be their style, the way they talk, walk, sound, present themselves or even what you are comfortable with. If you have been dating black guys then you are becoming comfortable dating them and it’s what you are used to. Not necissarly saying that you’re ‘dissing’ other races, it’s all about your OWN ATTRACTIONS and what appeals you.

1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantPleas know that there is a difference b/t nigger and nigga. Blacks changed the meaning and accepted the fact that we went through what we did and now we can coin the term to mean something merely as ‘friend’ ‘brother’ ‘companion’ just the same as hispanics say ‘homz’ and whites say ‘bro’ just because the termed nigga coined from nigger people frown upon it like its a bad thing. I say nigga all the time to my friends and family. it is in no shape or form considered disrespectful or hurtful to me or anyone i use it to. It is just simply a slang term that a certain ethnicity uses. Nothing more.

1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantNigger is a pejorative term used to refer to dark-skinned people, particularly those of African origin. It is derived from the Latin word Niger, meaning ‘black’, in particular from a dialect variant of the Latin-derived word Negro, the Spanish for ‘black’. It was commonly used in the United States and United Kingdom as recently as the 1960s. In the United States, the more neutral descriptive term African-American is currently preferred in public discourse, in the pattern of Native American, Italian-American, Asian-American and others. Acceptable words vary from country to country and, ultimately, from individual to individual. It is worth noting that the word has to some extent been reclaimed by black people in recent years, particularly in America. Some young African-Americans, in particular, use the word to one another without any derogatory implication. In 1988 the album Straight Outta Compton was released by the rap group Niggaz With Attitude — despite their own use of the word nigger (sanitized via spelling) the group’s name was often glossed as NWA, perhaps reflecting the extreme discomfort that still surrounds any use of the word. Other African Americans, however, consider the term offensive in all contexts and do not agree that it is ever appropriate to use it. As an illustration of the process by some of reclaiming the word, in 1967, Muhammad Ali had explained his refusal to be drafted to serve in the Vietnam War by saying, ‘I got nothing against no Viet Cong. No Vietnamese ever called me nigger.’ Comedian and activist Dick Gregory used the word as the title of his best-selling autobiography in 1964. It should be reiterated that the word is considered extremely offensive other than in the very specific context described above, and is rarely heard outside that context. Indeed, even the sound of the word is offensive to some. Careful speakers often refuse to use niggardly or snigger, even though these terms do not refer either to black people or to characteristics or behavior attributed to black people. Nor do they have any etymological connection to the word nigger. A bureaucrat in the city government of Washington, D.C. was briefly driven from his job in the late 1990s when he was overheard referring in a private conversation to ‘a niggardly budget’, meaning only that it was insufficient and cheap.

1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantI don’t have a problem with fat people because we that aren’t fat don’t know the medical reasoning behind some peoples weight problems. Some people can’t help it because they have some sort of disorder or gland problem or something so we can’t go around assuming that ALL people are fat because they eat too much and are lazy, because that is what i used to think. Everytime I saw an overweight person eating or lying down I’d think, ‘why do they always complain about being fat and wanting to loosed weight but here he or she is lying down stuffing whopper value meals down their tube?’ I sometimes do that still but only when I know the persons situation. Like my cousin, he’s fat because he likes to eat fatty foods and do nothing. he doesn’t work out and he likes to sleep right after he eats, which is not healthy, so when he asks ‘why am i fat’ I have no remorse for him because he knows damn well why he’s overweight. I think that overweight people are equal with skiny people, and not so skinny people, its society views on fat people that hinder peoples views. If society didn’t throw skinny, frail, no curves, no flub, people in our faces everyday we wouldn’t frown upon the overweight.

1EducatedBlackQueenParticipantI’ve always wanted to know the answer to that question myself until I took an African Civilizations class at my college. Since white people evolved from Europe and black from africa, our bodies were designed to store fat in different places. That is also why our pigments are darker than theirs. Of course it would be, we originated from a place where hot climate is constant, they didn’t so they didn’t have the access to the suns rays to darken their skin like we did. this is why we are darker. Anyways (i got way of subject) We talked in my class about why white women have no butts and its simply because their bodies were not built to store fatty tissues in the buttocks like black peoples. Now don’t get it twisted because there are A LOT of black women that don’t have butts. Its a certain culture of africans that had fat buttocks and a lot of african americans today aren’t full blooded african. We all have some different ethnicities in us so that also explains how some blacks have flat butts. Its basically because their bodies aren’t built to store fat in the buttocks, they store fat in the hips and breast more than the buttocks. (thats a scientific fact).
