I don't think we feel physical pleasure differently, but we are more expressive about it. We are raised with the knowledge that we may not see tommorrow, and we have a lot of hardships to deal with, so we take pleasure whenever and wherever possible.

I've seen people of all races doing this not just black people.

We don't smile because we are too busy taking shit from a society that would rather not see us or have anything to do with us.

There is no truth to this rumor. Some black men may not do it or may not like to do it, but most of my friends do. It's the same with my white friends - some like it, some don't. It has nothing to do with race; it's just personal choice.

I'm curious as to why you would list the Black Panthers as a hate group when they never preached or advocated hatred for whites. And as for those FBI files you are talking about, nearly all of them have proven to be false, now that the records have been released. As far as the Nation of Islam, even though they qualify as a hate group in my eyes because they do generalize all white people as the enemy, I have yet to hear anything about them attacking white people, and believe me, if they did, it would be all over the news. The fact is that far more hate-motivated crimes are committed by whites. Also, as far as I'm concerned, police brutality is a hate crime and should be treated like one.

The reason why stories like that don't get airtime is probably because the media doesn't feel that a black man on a shooting spree is news worthy because they tend to think of all of us as criminals anyway. It's much more shocking to them when they see someone who is white and supposedly above doing something that brutal especially if they aren't 'poor white trash'. Plus they know they will get ratings from minority viewers if they run these stories as long as they can.

You should never be afraid to tell your boyfriend what you want sexually; you might be surprised and find that he wants the same thing. He may be afraid to tell you he wants the same thing. One of the reasons men cheat in relationships is that they are afraid to experiment with their wives and girlfriends, so they go out and find some girl they don't really care as much about and do tings with her that they think they can't do with their wives. If you don't assert yourself, you will be frustrated and begin to resent the relationship. Also, if you don't say anything, you can't complain when he doesn't please you.

Thats a good question, personally I love pink floyd, U2, and Led zepplin. Personally I think that it has to do with the fact that most African Americans aren't exposed to that kind of music as they are growing up. We Identify with Hip Hop Because it comes directly from R&B rythms and talks primarily about the black community. Plus many african americans like a beat that they can dance too. and heavy metal really doesn't provide that kind of beat.

An asian friend of mine pointed out that asian racism is subtly different, in that its more about caste system and economics. In asian countries people who are poor are at the bottom of society and looked down on, and they perceive blacks as on the bottom. Many of the older asians come to this country with that attitude and will display even moreso that whites who have lived in this country forever.

While I certainly don't approve of it. Porn is make believe and appeals to peoples fantazys not reality. For Instance while most people wouldn't want to be tied up and raped in real life, they might actually have a dream or fantazy where something like that happens. Pornagraphy plays on that and it's certainly going to be the least place to find political correctness

I agree with the fact that Jim crow laws and slavery changed the prorities for black people, and yes since many young blacks get their money thru drugs it's easy for them to go out and spend money on frivolous things like cars and clothes but it's also due to the fact that it takes more than money to buy a home you also have to have credit and be excepted by the community that you are moving into these things still aren't so easy for black people so I have $20,000.00 to put down on the house I still might not be able to get it. Also living in the 'hood' may not be as traumatic for someone who has grown up there and lived there for all their lives like it might be for you.

I think that it is all of those ting that you mentioned. Many people think that African Americans aren't patriotic because we complain about the wrong doings and racism in america but i think that it is because i am patriotic and do see the procress and potential of this country to be the greatest country in the world that i do complain. I feel like thats the way that we improve and work to be a better society.

You are talking about an animal with a memory that lasts about two minutes, is dumb enough to chew on itself in a feeding frenzy so i doubt very seriously it would remember wich trade routes that slave ships took hundreds of years ago. If sharks do follow the same routes it prabably has more to do with their natural migration parterns just like birds who fly south for the winter.

It isn't that blacks want to live next door do whites, as a black man myself i couldn't care less if I am liked or excepted by anyone ignorant enough to catagorize me by my color, however everyone wants to live in the nicest homes and go to the best schools and if that means living next door to someone who happens to be of another race. then it's my right to do so.

To the person who supposedly quoted fred astaire as saying that black people are actually terrible Dancers, He should remember that Fred Astaire got most of his moves from a black man. Mister BO Jangles was responisble most of the moves that Fred Astaire and many others like him used. other dance forms like the Tango were developed at a time when blacks weren't allowed into the dance studios to learn them. Now im not saying that blacks are superior but dancing and singing and making jokes have always been the way for blacks to cope with the harsh realities of life it was a coping mechanism that allowed us to deal with slavery and racism. the harder life got, the more blacks used dance and music and comedy to deal with life and we still use these gifts today.
