CarlParticipantI have been in people’s houses and felt a really strong impression from black art, but I think good art should leave a strong impression. And I think anyone is a little surprised and taken aback at anything they’re not used to. Think back to the first time you tried a strong liquor.

CarlParticipantDifferent races’ ‘natural’ smells can be just as different as their skin color, etc. – just like how a vegetarian’s body odor smells different than someone who eats lots of meat. Maybe these girls weren’t really that dirty but just didn’t smell good to you. I’ve had completely different opinions from my friends on the smell of the same girl before.

CarlParticipantI’m not really sure. I’d actually love to enjoy some white culture, but nearly all white people won’t refer to anything being ‘a white thing’, because they are afraid of anyone interpreting this to mean ‘for whites only’. White anscestry also comes from so many different countries and is diverse enough that it’s hard to find anything that all white people can relate to. And honestly, I think white people are economically the most succeptible to consumer culture, which has a tendancy to override any deeper cultural intrests.(Turn off your TV)

CarlParticipantI’m sure there is a much more primal element to this. I’ll date girls of other races, no problem, but plenty of guys (of all races) know, sometimes when you see a hot girl of your own race with a guy of another race, there can be a twinge of jealousy\anger\defensiveness. And I’ve been told the same can be just as true for women. Just natural feelings of competitiveness I guess.

CarlParticipantPersonally, this is the first time I’ve heard that white people think black people have an inferiority complex. And as far as natural good looks, I think black guys have it more than white guys, and white girls have it more than black girls. That’s personal opinion, but you do see tons of black guys and white girls in commercials, ads, videos, etc… And as far as hip-hop goes, I’ll take out plenty of black guys on any of the 4 elements, If they even know what real hip-hop is. (PS — Rappers are different than hip-hoppers. Know your roots) And as far as white people imitating hip-hop AND rap, It’s a huge part of popular culture right now. Why shouldn’t white people enjoy being in style?

CarlParticipantIf you watch white 80’s movies, you will notice a lot less butt than today. I think that white guys in previous generations didn’t really pay as much attention to the merits of a proper behind until they noticed how much lots of black guys loved them. Basically, If your race wants to have sex with a nicely shaped da-dunka-dunk butt, then there will be more babies with them, and so on, over time. (PS I know a white girl with a HUGE C-Butt. She loves it)

CarlParticipantI think I can speculate why ‘we’ Americans behave in such a (self?)rightous manner. Really, I think this behavour has it’s roots in the American south. The further South I have been, I have noticed people are more and more judgemental of each other, sometimes very publicly, as a way to achieve social status for themselves. For a southern-American the way to defend yourself is to appear as charitable and rightous as possible, even if you do more harm than good. As far as I know, it’s been like that for a VERY long time, and the south is VERY resistant to change.
