I never liked women with really hairy arms. Or excessive body hair anywhere else. Most people in our society including me view body hair as masculine. As a result most men including me are not going to date a woman who looks like the missing link or has lumberjack arms. It’s not really a new thing it’s always been that way, men wanting to date women who don’t look like the missing link or lumberjacks. Also I don’t see what the big deal is. You already shave your legs so whats the big deal with shaving your arms. I don’t see why anyone would be so attached to thier body hair. It grows back. I shave parts of my body other than my face. If I meet a woman who likes guys that are hairy then I’ll stop. If I meet a woman whose more into the Abercrombie model look then I’ll shave more. It’s not a big deal to me because I’m not attached to my body hair. You’re just going to have to face facts, the Grizzly Allen look is out for both men and women.

Personally I think the whole goth thing is kind of hypocritical. The point is to be an indivdual and not conform to what society wants you to be. But you can only be an individual if you wear the same clothes, listen to the same music, and act the same way as a certain group? I don’t know maybe I’m wrong, thats just the way I percieved it, I don’t know really what it truly means to be a goth, but I don’t know if you do either. If your going goth just beceause you think its cool or you want to be long to a certain group you’re doing it for the wrong reasons. If you’ve looked into it and know what it really means and decided you believe in it then good for you. Thats just my opinion, I don’t think you need anyones help to be an individual. As for your parents try to explain to them your reasons for choosing goth. That your willing to listen to thier thoughts on the matter just as long they are willing to listen to yours. Listening to each other and communicating without being judgemental is the key.

The flag that most people associate with racism and the KKK is actually the flag of the Confederate army and navy. That was not the flag flown in the Confederate capital but flown by the people who attacked and tried to divide our country. You could try flying the Bonnie Blue Flag or the original stars and bars( the one that looks alot like the U.S. flag).
