This is written as if I had a choice in the matter. I'm an administrative assistant. Way overqualified. I can't stand when people ask me this question. Yes I'm here until something better comes through. It's better than sitting at home watching the bills pile up. It's probably just a matter of time before the guy in the next cubicle gets something better. Or maybe he's working on a novel. You never know what a person may be doing in their off hours.

I'm currently undergoing art therapy. I love it. I do everything from pottery, to collaging, to painting to writing. I wouldn't be surprised if she had me sing a few octaves. I find it tremendously helpful;, and better than any conventional modality of therapy I have ever tried. Also a friend of mine is a Drama Therapist and she does a lot of drama workshops for children. I highly encourage it. It'd be rewarding and I think it's higly respected. At least it is here in Canada.

Please let me know your findings. I'm thinking of teaching yoga to the deaf.

Yes, a college education will get you up the ladder. Class is based in education. If you can't finish your education right now, some suggestions to give the appearance of wealth: -take up yoga -go to art shows -read up on politics, embrace liberal ideaology -learn about your roots. -learn about Israel. -experiment with bisexuality -read up on feminism

Maybe take the 'Third' out of the signature of your name. People feel that the wealthy don't earn their stripes. The wealthy are out of touch with reality. Why do you look up to the wealthy? I have never even heard of that.

I never knew it was okay to trash poor whites until I lived with such a girl who never edited who anti-semitic thoughts and feelings. When I finally was backed into a corner and lost my temper I unleashed every ounce of anger I had towards her and her stupid, unenlightened bigotted ways. And she was violent and a mysogynist. Suddenly people were using the term white trash everywhere. I didn't know it was ever okay to do so. I still don't think it is and it should be re-thought. Tonya Harding probably started it.

Good Question. I grew up upper middle class. Now I'm nothing, but I wouldn't say I'm lower class either. It's such a judgemental question in the first place. No one should ever have to answer the question. I don't hold a University degree. I just don't fit in anywhere.

Hi. I grew up upper middle class/rich. Only I didn't really know it. I went to a private Hebrew School, and most kids were either the same or wealthier than me. We didn't have a pool or a cottage or really any amenities. We travelled a lot. My mom's family lives in France. As a teenager I never really got anything I wanted. Our house was always messy so I was embarassed to have friends come over. there was never any food in the fridge or pantry , because my mom wouldn't let us eat junk food. My parents never put aside any money for me to go to University and seemed surprised when I wanted to go. I wish I had grown up poorer so that I'd have beeen taken more seriously. I had jobs throughout high school. No one understood why. Now I have no money and I struggle all the time. I'm in debt. My parents are even deeper in debt and can't help me. Their money was never really to my advantage. Because I didn't want to live the life that they set out for me. I wish I had been poorer so I could have worked and saved for University. I didn't qualify for student loans until I was out of high school for five years. If I had been poorer I may have been encouraged to apply for grants and scholarships.

Hi. There actually is some history to this. We weren't allowed to own land back in the middle ages. So we were merchants. And made a lot of money. Having a history of being both wanderers and being persecuted we thrived in adversarial situations. We don't worry about pissing off the establishment because at the time we weren't regarded as anyhthing by the establishment anyways. So we took more risks. Also since the holocaust, we have always been conditioned and raised to question authority and to never follow instructions blindly. Asking questions is also called the Socratic way of learning which is also the best way to learn about anything. In my opinion. We are always huge advocates of human rights because we know what it was like to have ours all trampled on. So many policy changes come by way of our investigation and suggestions.

I grew up upper middle class. I hated it in many ways. I never really got anything I wanted. My parents didn't even put aside money for me for University. If I had been less wealth off I'd have saved the money. I enjoyed working and working towards something. I realize I'd write an entire rant if you get me started on this. E-mail me please if you wish. Now I'm deeply in debt.
