When I was a Wiccan, my ceremony was very close to a Catholic mass, only shorter and by myself. This was because I was raised a Catholic, and it was what I knew. Wiccans believe in a God and a Goddess, with every god being a part of their God, every goddess being a part of their Goddess. For some people the Christian God isn't included (which I think makes no sense, personally). They recognize these two deities in their ceremonies, as well as the elements air, water, fire, and earth.

XX and XY are not the only combinations, sometimes people are born with a genetic defect in which they wind up with XXX, XYY, or XXY. Each has its own effects, I -don't think- hermaphrodites have this. I think what happens with hermaphrodites is they are genetically either male or female, but they are introduced to the opposite hormone early in embryonic/fetal development.

How about a term for women who are such feminazis they refer to it as 'kissing up to the patriarchal/male establishment?'

When I think 'Voodoo,' I think New Orleans style Voodooo, which is a mix of Vodoun and New Orleans culture. Vodoun in America is descended from African beliefs, brought over by slaves (and probably immigrants, too) and intermixed with Christian beliefs they were introduced to. So they may pray to African deities or African deities disguised as Catholic Saints. I'm not sure if the pure African belief (still in Africa, I mean) is called Vodoun, but it might be. Vodoun is practiced fairly commonly in some areas in the United States, but I'm not sure to what degree.

I don't know if it varies or isn't accurate or whatnot, but I saw on television the story of three nuns who joined the convent after they already had children. I don't think a widow would be much different.

People fear my religion because they do not understand them (I mean, look at what it's called, it's very easy to misinterpret it!). I usually don't take offense unless I try to explain and they refuse to listen. People oftentimes get really defensive, as if my worshiping 'the devil' is an attack on them. Of course, unless they're trying to lynch me, it's not exactly causing a huge problem for me anyway.

Kosher is a term originally used to denote that which is 'fit' and 'proper'. Most often, it is used to describe foods that are permitted to be eaten by people who observe the Jewish dietary laws. (From kolami.net)

The thing is, Wiccans do the exact same thing! They so adamantly condemn things like animal sacrifice and even (seeing as you are Dianic) the fact that most early pagan cultures (and even early Wicca) were just as male-centered as Christianity is! It's all a matter of things that are deemed culturally unacceptable. Halloween is considered 'secular' in most modern Christians' eyes, and thus harmless. Pagan concepts adapted into Christianity are oftentimes viewed as secular additions, and oftentimes have Christian 'origins' made up for them (Santa Claus and St. Nick, for example). I don't see very much strong opposition of things like tarot cards and sabbats except by people who also condemn Christmas trees and Halloween, personally. Plus, the practices accepted by Christians really -are- pre-Christian, whereas the Goddess in the concept you are used to and tarot cards are not. This makes a lot of difference.

When I was female I'd talk about sex with the guys all the time. It wasn't abnormal for me at all. Guys and girls really don't talk about sex that differently, it's just in a different 'atmosphere.'

When I think of 'Bible Believer,' I don't think of somebody who is necessarily physically violent, I tend to think of people who try to make laws to do things like restrict religious freedom, and I think of people who key cars up for having non-Christian bumper stickers. Obviously most people who believe in the Bible probably aren't like this, but it's out of personal experience for me.

'Native American' does not describe one belief system, but many. There are lots of different kinds of Native Americans. Some may believe in the Bible, as a result of mixing their old traditions with Christianity. But most who keep their native faith are not worshiping the Christian God, they are worshiping a different God or Gods and thus cannot really be compared to Christianity in the way you are.

But to me the answer is blatantly obvious: They've been so sexually frustrated from being expected to remain celibate that they prey on young boys. It's also a way to instill fear and gain power.
