Thank you J-Lo? Are you saying that J-Lo is responsible for the acceptance of the big booty? Did you not know that Anglo women were getting ‘butt-lifts’ way before J-Lo was even well-known? This reminds me of years ago, when Bo Derek’s braids were a sensation among white women. This ‘new’ craze was attributed to Derek, but we all knew that the women of Africa had been braiding their hair for thousands of years.

This question is for ‘C.C. Somewhere in NA, Canada’: What is so extreme about wearing an afro?

I’d masturbate until my hand dropped off. I’d have sex with a woman to see what all the ‘hub-bub’ was about. I’d walk and pee simultaneously to see what would happen. I’d do the twist naked to see if my ‘weiner’ would flop from side to side. I’d probably slap it around a couple of times, too.

You may be surprised to know that more and more black women and white men are forming relationships. Black women tend to ‘stay within the race’ for the sake of loyalty to black men, but a shift is occurring. With many black men dating white women, black women and white men are beginning to date as well.

To Justin of Chicago: To say ‘excuse me’ shows you’re a mannerly person. It’s not an inconvenient formality. It takes less than a second to utter, and the effect can often be calming. How would you like it if someone ran smack into you or stepped on your toes without any acknowledgement? You said you’ll say ‘excuse me’ only when the stepee/brushee is black. Well fine, if that’s what you want to do, but sarcasm doesn’t make any situation better.

Although our population is comprised of mostly white people, minority spending (Black, Asian, Hispanic, etc.) adds up to multi-Billions of dollars annually…Some major corporations, such as Coca-Cola and McDonald’s realize this and have commercials targeted to minorities…Good Job!COMMERCials push COMMERCE!!

I’m a black woman who studies black history AND Jewish history. I’ve always had an interest in Jewish customs, people, etc. Very few can understand why I do this, but it’s my passion.

There is a marked difference between calling someone a ‘nigger’ and a ‘nigga’. Think about it, when was the last time you heard a black person refer to another as a ‘nigger’?I also agree with the poster who gave the sibling analogy.

Perhaps it’s the emotions of extreme grief, sadness and shock that makes some blacks wail at the news of the passing of a friend or loved one. Not all blacks do this, just as not all whites are solemn when they receive the same kind of news.

The original poster said he FELT like the ‘stupid honky’ (geez, I hate that word). He never said he was called that, nor did he say that minorities do anything to make him feel inferior — he just naturally feels that way around them. To the original poster: No matter who you’re around, be yourself. If you remember nothing else about my message to you, remember this: ‘No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.’ — Eleanor Roosevelt.

I’ve also noticed how impolite some whites are. Whenever I go through a crowded aisle at a supermarket, I note that most blacks will say ‘excuse me’, but most whites won’t. There’s been times when I’ve had a shopping cart full of items, and the person behind me is carrying an item or two, so I’ll let that person get in front of me. The blacks will without hesitation say ‘thank you’ and the whites don’t. Why is this?
