BryanParticipantWhoever told you there were rules for homosexuality knew even less about the subject than you. The only ‘rule’ there might be is that there is an attraction to someone of the same sex. But that’s more a definition of the word, rather than a rule. I’ve known several lesbian couples, and observed quite a few more. I have to say that there is indeed such a thing as a ‘Dom w/ Dom’ or ‘Fem w/ Fem’ lesbian relationship. Also, might I suggest that a better term would be ‘butch’ or ‘masculine’ instead of ‘Dom.’ Dom tends to connote there being a dominant trait to the individual, where it seems to me the trait you’re describing is purely in physical appearance. Also, as to one of them taking the role of the ‘man’ in the relationship, I can only speak as a gay man. Neither partner in a same-sex relationship is taking the place of the opposite sex, regardless of their role (if any) in the physical aspect of the relationship.

BryanParticipantI’ve never heard of that. Usually it just means they didn’t know which way was up. đ If you want to show that kind of support, there are multiple stickers for that purpose. The most common would probably be an ‘equal rights’ sticker. It’s a blue square with a yellow ‘=’ (equal) symbol in it. There are also other ones with phrases such as ‘straight, but not narrow’, etc.

BryanParticipantIt has been proven, over and over again and in study after scientific study, that homosexuality is a matter of genetics. It has absolutely nothing to do with the environment you were raised in or with any of the other events in your life. This being said (yet again), it is incredibly sad that people have to pretend to be who they aren’t. In my view, it is equivalent to a criminal act that certain religions and churches tell people that it’s wrong to be gay. They have no idea what kind of emotional and psychological damage they are doing to these people. And referring back to a previous post on this message; to advise someone to get married or to live as a monk or priest when they confess their homosexuality (the way God made them, I might add) is possibly one of the worst things that could ever happen. What is having that piece of paper going to change about them? Nothing. And what about the person they’re marrying? They’re living just as much a lie as the closeted person. They think the person they married loves them in every way, and it’s just not true (despite any emotional closeness they may share). Another way to look at it: Imagine if you were living in a world of blonde people, and only 10 to 15% of them were brown haired. Imagine being one of those brown haired people and being told your entire life (despite the fact there is NOTHING else different about you) that you are wrong, a mistake, abhorrent, a disgrace to yourself and your community, that you deserve to die a very horrible and painful death, that you don’t deserve any of the freedoms or the rights of the society you live in. All because you have different color hair. This is the life of homosexuals. The only thing different about them is that they love someone of the same gender. It’s racism with a different name, and with things going the way they are politically, pretty soon anyone identifying themselves as gay to the government will soon be counted as only 3/5 of a person.

BryanParticipantWHOAH!!! That’s so INCREDIBLY not true, I don’t know where to begin!! First of all, I’ve known plenty of straight men who’re more fem than any woman I’ve ever met. On the flip side, I know of a huge number of gay men who don’t have a single effeminate mannerism. I will be the first to admit that stereotypes exist for a reason, but that doesn’t make them any more than just that; a stereotype. The truth is, you have zero way of knowing whether the person sitting next to you in is straight or gay without them giving you a definive answer or just by looking at them.

BryanParticipantAll sexual acts, hetero or homo, are performed because you (physically or emotionally) enjoy them. For this post, let’s stick to the physicall aspect. As for anal sex, the same holds true. As for giving (being a top), the pleasure there should be obvious as it’s exactly the same as vaginal sex. As for receiving (being a bottom), there is a bit of biology involved. The area itself is just absolutely full of nerve endings, so stimulation of the area is pleasurable (when done properly, which could lead into a side discussion of ‘tossing salad’, but that’s not what this post is about). What’s more, inside the rectum is the prostate, also teaming with nerve endings. The stimulation of the prostate alone is more than enough to give a lot of men (gay or straight) an orgasm. As for whether or not you are a top or a bottom, that’s just a matter of personal preference; and most gay men are not exclusively one or the other, they’re versatile.
