I’m a white woman who is a total vegetarian- no meat, no animal products, all organic foods. I fast once a month with herbal teas. It’s not that every ‘Dark’ Women smells. It’s just the girls you mess with, where ever you are. You can not put everyone in the same category. I am personally offended because I am a ‘Dark’ Black women(very proud) and I don’t smell. Did you ever stop to think that maybe its not these women? Sometimes the chemistry of two different people can cause a room to smell during sex or for an odor to arise. It is not necessarily because she doesn’t bathe, it just the mixture of both of your body fluids. I had an experience similar, however it was not with someone black. It was actually with a hispanic male, not to say that this happens with all hispanics either. This was just him! (I’m hispanic too, but have never had the same problem with anyone else)

I’m a black woman and believe you’ve been running into the wrong women. I strongly suggest that you tell the next woman – if there’s another – the truth. It’s better to speak your mind. Most black women are strong, and we sometimes can handle the truth if said the right way. And if you so happen to meet that special girl with a not-so-special scent, you can always go to Victoria’s Secret or Bath and Bodyworks and hook her up with some stuff that smells good to her and to you. Maybe it’s just a lot of women out there who are clueless and don’t know the first thing about personal hygiene and how important it is, especially when they’re sexually active. I encourage you to keep searching, because it’s hard to believe all black women, the darker ones, have foul odors down there. Different races’ ‘natural’ smells can be just as different as their skin color, etc. – just like how a vegetarian’s body odor smells different than someone who eats lots of meat. Maybe these girls weren’t really that dirty but just didn’t smell good to you. I’ve had completely different opinions from my friends on the smell of the same girl before.

I think it is unfortunate that you have had those experiences, but I assure you that it was either a problem with hygiene or a possible infection. In fact, I am a dark-skinned black woman, and my boyfriend is white, and he constantly goes on about the fact that I have the best smell he has ever experienced. If you are at all interested, you may want to look up vaginitis – you will find that a foul odor during sex is usually an indication of infection. Now, it is true that some women do have stronger smells than others, but that is simply normal and has nothing to do with race or the percentage of melanin in one’s skin. But beware, although a strong smell is normal, it should in no way be ‘horrible.’
