My experience has been that many Wiccans tend to be liberal in thought, while most Asatruar/Odinists tend to be much more conservative – so the Wiccans tend to be more accepting, while the Odinists are not – they tend to view homosexuality as “anti-family” (i.e., since it’s not based around the traditional family unit). Vegans are Animal Activists, and unless you are an Animal Activist, you are not a Vegan. It didn’t affect me, anybody I know, anybody I’m friends with, or anybody I care about. I know it sounds cold, but I am fairly indifferent to the plight of my fellow man. I make no apologies for it – that’s just the way it is. If you’re not smart enough to leave when a Hurricane comes – you get what you get – and if you live ANYWHERE along the coast, you have to be willing to accept Hurricanes as a part of life. I live in Florida – as soon as they say one is going to hit in my area – I leave. Since I’m tired of dealing with things like that, my girlfriend and I are moving to the Midwest. I’d rather live in the foothills where I won’t have to worry about it ever again.

I have long hair, and people seem to freak out over it. It’s really simple – I don’t like short hair. I’m a musician, and to me – anybody playing hard rock or heavy metal with short hair looks like an idiot on stage. Does anybody here know where the mullet really came from. The earliest picture I can find is a video for the song “fly by night” at “You”knowhere of the band Rush from around 1973, and their drummer has a definite mullet in it.

When the immigrants from these countries arrived in the USA, they ended up fighting each other for means of survival. There was an Italian mob, and there was an Irish mob, and the funny thing is – the Irish mob was much more violent. I was always told that the Irish immigrants got into politics and the police force. But that is where it comes from. Actually, I thought that was over but a friend who grew up in Pennsylvania told me that when he was growing up during the late 60’s and early 70’s – there was still a lot of animosity between people of Irish and Italian descent.
