Muslims are not allowed to eat pork because they are only allowed to eat the meat of animals that don't eat other animals. Therefore, the meat of cow, lamb, goat and deer are OK. and yeah they can't have claws. (two hoofs or something) And I also heard a story from someone that, it was believed in Islam that, a tribe of men were turned into pigs and monkeys or so, and therefore cannot eat their meat because they were condemned men. Don't know the truth about this story, could be an old wive's tale.

Hi, I am from the Maldives, which is the only other 100% Muslim country in the world other than Saudi Arabia. And no, female circumcision is not practiced in the Maldives. In the very olden days it used to be, but only to the extent of drawing out blood by pricking a sterile needle in the clitoris. I have a lot of friends who are from Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. And none of them have been circumcised. I think It is more cultural than religious, because I know it is practiced in parts of Africa to horrifying levels. In Islam, is it not required for females to be circumcised at all.

Hey I am a muslim and I don't hate Jews. Isn't it a bit narrow minded to ask why muslims hate jews instead of asking why SOME muslims hate jews?, and for those people who hate jews, I think it stems from a lot of politics and the fight for land and all of that.

Hi there Are you talking about contracts that are signed in America?? I am a muslim and I did not get into any contracts with my husband. Islam itself provides me the rights. to name a few, the right to keep my own name, my own property and business (husband has no say and does not get anything or have a right ot it), the right to earn and keep the whole earnings, and in the case of a divorce, the husband has to support me and the kids financially. In case I get remarried, he deosn't have to support me but has to keep up the payments for the kids. I think we have a weet deal here!

where do you get off by saying that 'But in Islam it is all right to commit suicide on behalf of the faith, as it is all right to commit murder of innocents in the name of Allah. ' It is not ok in islam do to any of that. I dare you to find any verse in the HOly Quran that says that it is ok. It is attitudes like that, that support the small faction of muslims on a terror crusade. Know what you are talking before you judge it
