In a society where black people have been oppressed, raped and abused you will find us with the highest rate of most self destructive sexual behavior statistics. When assessing the rate of teen pregnancy we must use our common sense and look at the rate of abortions as well. However, the pregnancy rate has nothing to do with the amount of sex you have, because if you have the resources you can prevent pregancy w/ several options. That does not change the fact that they were robbed of their assets and forced to live in certain areas. I am only 20 years old and I can tell you about some discrimination that I have suffered. It was just 3 years ago that 2 white white men tied a black man to a truck and drove until his mangled body parts fell off and that a resturant in Florida only seviced white people. Discrimination is alive and well. Reparations will not change what happened but it will give us back what is rightfully ours. If I stole the only thing that you owned you would still miss it 50 years later and if your grandchildren are decent they would want justice for you.

The KKK is still a real organization and the NAACP still has to fight for the rights of black people. Yes, racism does still exist and as ignorant as it is, it has always, since the beginning of this country, been based on skin color.

Much like the fact that most black republicans happen to be upper class and are highly supported by whites. This has always been the trend and it really doesn’t surprise me that most white people agree with Cosby. I respect your opinion but it’s easy to come up with the answers when you’re on the outside looking in.
