'Always' have extremely unusual names? 'Names 'most' people have never heard of?' Hmmmm.... I will admit, some of us black folks do get awfully creative when we name our children, but I'd attribute it to our inherent creativity and uniqueness more than anything else. It's called 'not subscribing to the norm.'

Chrissy, white men like non-white women--trust me. I think it may be that this country--no, this WORLD, still sees white women as the ultimate, ideal woman. Don't worry about it; they will realize what they are missing someday!!

Well, Jay, you wouldn't care that those sitcoms you named don't have any white people - because white people are plastered all over the TV as it is. Perhaps we should just sit back and be glad we were 'given' The Cosby Show. And to correct you, in the early days of Martin, his engineer was white.

They are interested in black women--why WOULDN'T they be? Besides, they probably don't make regular mention of their interest because they are worried what THEIR PEERS might think. Hey, I guess they all can't be Robert DeNiro!

This is yet another stereotype. People look at a few movies, listen to a few rap songs and begin to make assumptions.
