KhephraMemberThere are guys who are not into anal sex or find it uncomfortable, but if the active partner knows what he’s doing and takes the time to make sure his partner is relaxed and aroused enough, it can be a mind-blowing experience. The prostate gland is massaged during intercourse, and this is extremely pleasurable if the time is taken to relax the anal muscles properly. Most straight guys wouldn’t let anyone near their anus for fear they might be labeled ‘queer,’ but they don’t know what they’re missing! I’m glad to see that so many books on Tantra now mention this very important aspect of sex. Anal massage is now being taught for straight couples as well, and it’s about time. The foundation of a man’s sexual pleasure is the prostate (even more so than the penis), and most straight men ignore it until it starts causing them problems.

KhephraMemberOne of the best answers I’ve read to this question is discussed in Randy Connor’s book Blossom of Bone. He asserts that homosexuals have historically been more in tune with their creative and spiritual natures than heterosexual males – perhaps centuries of derision and persecution have forced homosexuals to find more creative ways to express themselves and discover the beauty that surrounds us, which most people take for granted. They may also be more creative by nature (the gay gene?). By the way, do you know why so many straight guys are interested in sports, fights, guns and cars?

KhephraMemberI’m just as curious as you, but I have heard it argued that it may be BECAUSE Vermont has virtually no ethnic diversity. Have you noticed that Scandinavia and the Netherlands seem to be more socially advanced than virtually any other nation on the planet? These countries have virtually no ethnic diversity in their populations. It has been my observation that the more ethnically diverse a country or community is, the more social problems it has. It is certainly not my intention to offend anyone, and I am not a bigot by any means, but it may be that these places are able to achieve a greater sense of community when striving for common goals. There is no ‘us’ and ‘them.’ Does anyone have a better explanation? There doesn’t seem to be any bickering over what gets what, because everyone benefits when the population works together. I’m just as curious as you to see if anyone from New England has an explanation for why Vermont is the way it is.
