The word ‘media’ refers to any source of information, such as broadcast news, print media, textbooks, libraries, etc. On the whole, these sources do not cast a blanket of ignorance upon Southerners. Hollywood, however, often does make such blanket assumptions, whether seriously or for comedic effect. Regardless of what you may think, Hollywood is not a part of the media; it’s entertainment, which is very different. But truthfully, there are indeed plenty of ignorant, chaw-chompin’, racist rednecks in the South. I know this because I’ve lived among many of them for my entire life. Although, I’m sure that there are plenty of such people in other parts of the country as well.

I wouldn’t imagine that many Jews ever think of either of these things. Although, it is a curious thing that God would care at all about foreskins.

I wouldn’t consider it to be either gross or attractive, though I’m sure that plenty of other males would have a more concrete opinion on the matter. It just depends upon the preference of the individual. To me, it sounds like an interesting skill, one which would be invaluable in the pornography industry.

Brazil, much like the United States, is a melting pot. There are many racial and ethnic groups represented in its population. Your question is akin to someone asking, ‘What is an American?’ There just isn’t a single answer. Now, with regard to race, there are four major racial groups: (1) Mongoloid, (2) Negroid, (3) Caucasoid, and (4) Aboriginoid. The Mongoloid group comprises people from the Orient, Pacific islanders, and Native Americans. The Negroid group is composed of black Africans. The Caucasoid group is composed of white Europeans, Middle Easterners, and people from the Indian subcontinent. The Aboriginoid group is made up of the native Aborigines of Australia. There has been a great deal of migration and mixing through the ages. You can easily find pockets of people of a particular racial group in places other than those where their ancestors are from. You can also easily locate groups of people who are the result of racial mixing. For instance, many Hispanics are known as ‘mestizos,’ or mixed race. This is because they are a mixture of white Spanish settlers (Caucasoids) and local Native American peoples (Mongoloids).

From what I’ve heard, most foreigners tend to dislike the American government, not the American people.

To most Africans, diamonds are only worth as much as we dumb Westerners are willing to pay for them. A diamond’s value comes from its regard as a thing of beauty and from its rarity. Africans mine diamonds so that they can feed their families, or in the case of blood diamonds, to keep themselves alive. I would imagine that many wealthy Africans do wear diamonds, but average Africans would almost certainly sell any diamonds that come into their possession.

While I understand your interest in getting your son to appreciate your chosen lifestyle, you should not force your lifestyle upon him. If he chooses a nudist lifestyle, then that’s fine; after all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with nudity. But forcing him into it may indeed make him resent you. And to answer your question, yes, there are nudist camps in Europe to which you can send your son, though I know not where. But for his sake, do not force him to attend.

I have lived in the South for my entire life, and, in varying degrees, the stereotypes ring true. Some in the South are exact opposites of the stereotype, while some fit the stereotypes with absolute perfection; however, most Southerners only fit with portions of the stereotype.

Though I wouldn’t consider myself a ‘country boy,’ I do encounter plenty of them everyday. In the country, the ruggedness offered by boots is often the more practical choice for certain kinds of work and/or play. Similarly, some types of work and/or play lend themselves better to a large, powerful truck. However, to be fair, many ‘country boys’ only wear boots and drive big trucks so they can uphold the ‘country boy’ image; in cases such as this, the boots and trucks usually have very little to do with utility.

From what I’ve heard, many German-Americans were indeed looked down upon during World War II. I recently heard that some were treated similarly to the Japanese-Americans. However, if German-Americans were better treated during WWII, then it’s probably because it’s much easier to spot someone of Japanese descent than of German descent. Basically, an Asian is more likely to stick out in a crowd of white people than a German.

If you have the resources, you can mail or hand out surveys containing relevant questions about nipples and provide a way for women to anonymously return the surveys to you. If you do, be sure that you get plenty of responses from a good representative sample and strongly urge the concept of anonymity.

I don’t know that homosexuals cheat more often, but I have heard this complaint from a homosexual friend of mine. If it’s true, then it may be because many homosexuals define themselves by their sexual orientation; thus, a gay human engaging in an as much homosexual activity as possible is a way for that human to reinforce its sense of self.

As a matter of utility, I would expect the Amish to wear some sort of modest underwear. However, I certainly wouldn’t suspect that the Amish shave any body hair, unless for a reason unrelated to vanity.

Most black people talk the way that they do because of the very reason that you pointed out: they grew up with that particular speech pattern. People tend to stay together in their own racially and culturally unified groups. If a black person is around other black people most of the time, then that black person may never feel a need to change the pronunciation of word since other black people probably won’t have difficulty understanding it. As an interesting historical note, in Middle English, the word ‘ask’ actually was pronounced ‘aks’; you can find examples of this in untranslated works by Geoffrey Chaucer.
