JaneMemberAnd let’s not forget my favorite: Chatty. I’ve heard this from many men. They tend to think we talk more, but I like to think of it as we COMMUNICATE more effectively.

JaneMemberThat’s an interesting question. I only now realized that I DON’T like military men or most men that would dare to wear a uniform. The uniform leads me to think that the person has a lack of individuality and that the need to belong too badly, even if the person isn’t this way. You know, followers, not leaders!

JaneMemberJosh, I’d definitely say that this is a call you will have to make on your own. In college, my friends and I used to go around everywhere calling each other ‘bitch’ or ‘ho’ or whatever other bad name you can call a woman. For us, it was our way of asserting our closeness and level of comfort with one another. We knew when someone meant it in a hostile way as opposed to in a joking way. When we felt uncomfortable about it, we’d just ask ‘Are you angry or upset with me?’. If he seriously has an issue with it, hopefully he’ll be honest and tell you.

JaneMemberYes and no. If you truly are in love with someone, you can overlook just about anything. But if you are just up for a good roll in the hay, then YES, to me, it does matter. I have a preference for a man with a decent sized length (6 or more inches) and plentiful girth. I have had very good experiences with men that weren’t very well endowed because they made up for it with their charm, personality and overall manners.

JaneMemberThat is not the case at all. My musical tastes were cultivated as a child in everything from opera, to Barbra Streisand to rap and nu-metal. I personally happen to think that George Michael is the BEST male singer ever and have way more pictures and cds of him than of any Black artist. Also, soccer is my favorite sport, thanks in part to Fabien Barthez and David Beckham. Hockey I don’t like because it’s too violent and I can never understand why it’s OK to bash some guys’ brains in while standing on ice skates. You should take a trip to LA or California in general. You’ll meet all sorts of Black kids living outside the ‘norm’; skateboarders, BMXers, punk-head (ever hear of Fishbone; the all-Black punk band?) I think you may not believe these Black people exist because of the stereotypes portrayed on television and in movies or by what you see around you but it’s not like that everywhere or with all Black people!

JaneMemberI don’t know but the next time I’m at the movies, I can almost guarantee you that the person(s) that are the loudest when I go to the movies are white teen males, who for whatever reason, think it’s cool to receive cell phone calls while there or think it’s ‘really gosh darn neat’ to throw popcorn and candy from the dark rows in the back!Still, I’ll ask the quiet black kids seated in the middle rows why they won’t shut up!

JaneMemberThat’s a difficult one. First, since you have acknowledged that your family has a problem with their weight, you will need to take into account that you also share these genetics and that you may never be a thin person. However, what you can do is exercise at home. You can jump rope, do jumping jacks, sit-ups in your room, etc. for 30 minutes a day and tone up some areas that are not toned. This will not only help facilitate losing weight but it will also help keep your body fit. And when people stare, STARE BACK. Make them see how ridiculous they look and don’t take fat jokes personally because the person making the joke is probably just an extremely insensitve person anyway!
