I think society on the whole has this misguided perception that many minority groups, be they people of African American descent, homosexual, left-handed, physically handicapped or suffering from a mental illness, are angry about their 'situation.' None of us got to choose who we were, who our parents where and what our socioeconomic status would be. For example, I suffer from depression. If I had the chance to change that, would I? Probably not. It has shaped who I am and is a part of me - like it or leave it.

As you've said, it's not just gay men who enjoy the anus being penetrated. My partner and I have both indulged in a little bottom tickling - he finds it incredibly enjoyable as the stimulation of the prostate gland intensifies his orgasms. I enjoy it on occasion as the sensation of vaginal penetration is intensified. I find that my sphincter (bum hole) may be slightly uncomfortable for a short time afterward, but the experience is definitely worth it. And I've never had a word of complaint from my partner.

To begin with, your periods will probably be quite irregular in terms of when they come, how long they last, and the color and heaviness of the flow. However, it is quite 'normal' for menstrual blood to be either a darkish brown or bright red or any color in between. You'll be able to figure out what is 'normal' for you once your periods start becoming regular. I admire your honesty in asking such a forthright question. Good luck!

You know what? It's the same over on this side of the globe as well. People seem more self-absorbed these days, and unwilling or unable to consider how their actions affect the lives of others. I don't know that dumber would be the right term, though - perhaps society is just 'less aware.' It's ironic. Is it perhaps that as we have access to more information, we become 'numb' toward reality?
