I grew up in a rich neighborhood (although we were the poor neighbors) and I married a black man. Why? Because he treated me right. He may not have finished high school but he is the most intelligent person I know. If the women are looking down on you, they aren't worth your troubles.

It really depends. My husband has 'pimped up' his van in that it is very ethnic and most people are suprised to see a little fat white lady driving it when I'm driving, but our other cars he just keeps really nice even though they're older. Most of it is just that they like to have nice looking rides. Some of it is trying to show off. I'm always impressed that black men tend to keep their cars looking much nicer than whites do. I'd say it has more to do with self-pride.

I've never heard of this. Disability is very difficult to get even with what most people would consider a 'legitimate' disability. I have several chronic conditions which would normally avail me of disability, but I can't get it because I do work and work hard. As far as taking the weight off, it's not that simple. I've lost and gained and gained most of my weight on a medically required drug. I've been from a size 8 to a size 24. The only difference is the way others treat me.

It's not just the south (although I would avoid small towns in the deep south), but everywhere people are unused to interracial couples that this will happen. I'm married to a black man and here in San Diego no one even thinks twice about it. We get more reaction in the small town in Wyoming where I'm from, but the people welcomed him because he's a good man. We had no reactions from people in Houston where he's from. You'll have less reactions from cities where there's lots of military since interracial couples are more common where the military is. The worst experience I had was when I was dating a Turk in Germany, never here in the US.

My husband is black and his family celebrates the Fourth like any other family I've met. In fact, it's almost more important because it's the only time everyone gets back together.

Everyone's pubic hair is slightly darker. My husband is black and his is darker than the hair on his head. I've always been a natural blond and only recently has my head hair darkened up, but my pubic hair has always been brown (which I actually prefer to blonde).

I grew up with guns and love target shooting, but even though I have been attacked and nearly killed I refuse to have a gun in my house because it's more likely that a member of my family will be hurt. I also do not want to have to feel the guilt of having shot a human being even if it was in self defense. My understanding is that even cops and military have a hard time dealing with that.
