I am married to a black man yet don't speak a lot like a black person. The times I do I think I pick it up from being around black women, either as friends or at work. But I don't try and talk "black." I'm very happy being Italian.

I agree with Morgan that it's not the age. Even young people can and do get conned. I think also, as you said, they are lonely and want to be able to trust people. They are wise, as they have been through a lot in their years. Anyone at anytime can get conned. People can be pretty slick. I think old people are the greatest. They have so many wonderful stories they tell, and I find them very interesting.

I think you get used to bedpans, etc., over time. It's not a pleasant job by any means, but if you have become a nurse, this is a big part of it. Some things are "ugh," and some things are OK. If you have a queasy stomach, nursing is not for you. These things don't bother me. The only thing I can never get over is losing a patient, especially someone I grew fond of.

Redheads don't smell any different than brunettes or blondes do. Maybe it's the red-haired girls you're with. I don't believe hair color has anything to do with odor.

I think it is normal to be attracted to a guy, but I don't have the desire to touch him, just to look and admire.

i live in the south, and you see more of white women and black men.i dont see the difference as far as being afraid. maybe its just the people themselves that are scared. alot of white people dont understand black's, and there culture. if you are of a white, say and give other cultures a chance, you will see they are great people also.there should not be any prejudice . we all need to love each other, regardless of ones color.
