When I see someone who is quite over weight my overriding response is to think that they simply lack self-respect. *Very few* people a medical condition that results in obesity. Therefore, something about thier lifestyle makes them very overweight. If they respected themselves they would take care of themselves and maintain good health. It is very unlikely that you can be very overweight and in good health. Therefore, they are not taking care of themselves. I show them the same respect they show themselves which is, with respect to thier body, not much.

Interesting question. I've wondered about myself and why I have the reactions I do. For me, I tend to have a Madonna/Whore dichotomy. Typically a woman who is attracted to me falls into one of those categories on first sight. If it's the former, I wonder what books she reads, what she thinks about, what she values, etc. If it's the latter, I think about the filthy things I'd like to do to her. Yeah. I look at her body and evaluate it. I then think more about what I would like to do to her. Or have her do to me. I'm not sure this is entirely healthy seeing as how essentially no woman falls squarely into either category. I wonder if my mommy made me this way?

I evaluate a female boss the same way I evaluate a male boss: Do they know what they are talking about? Are they fair? Do they make good decisions? I've had plenty of male and female superiors and that is honestly all that's ever been an issue. Ditto ambition. I honestly think of it the same way I think of an ambitious man if it is not someone in a relationship with me. If the woman is in a relationship with me, I am more concerned about a balance between workplace ambition and time for me.

Having done a good amount of reading on the subject I can say that BMI is a good tool for getting a rough approximation of where your weight is with respect to where it 'should' be. It works for *most* people. It doesn't work for everyone. Specifically, it is not a good tool for people who have a lot of muscle mass for thier height (such as gymnasts, body builders and the like). Clearly, you are one of those people for which BMI is ill-suited. Body fat percentage is another good tool that probably fits a larger percentage of people but is a little harder to compute. Unless you are unusually muscle bound BMI is not a bad tool.

I don't mean to be a jackass but whenever I watch a woman's sport I end up thinking that they just aren't nearly as good as the men. They are smaller and have less muscle mass. Consequently they just can't do the same things the men can so I choose to watch the men. Sure, if they sexed up women's sports I suppose I would be more likely to watch. I wouldn't be watching the sport though. I'd just be looking at girls.

I suppose it's not any hair that is the problem for me so much as the type of hair. I'd prefer a woman's arm hair to be thin, soft, and light colored if possible (or a color that does not stand out against thier skin). *No* arm hair would be a bit weird to me. Frankly, I prefer my own hair to be that way. I'm a pale ass Irish guy. In the winter my skin is white and my hair is black. Not the best combination. In the summer if I get a little sun (not enough to burst into flames, gotta be careful...) my hair gets lighter and blends in more with my skin (which is a *little* tan). I just think it looks better. Maybe the media made me think that. Who knows? It's what I prefer though.
