Ok, well, lets see.... I suppose one good reason would be that it's taboo, and so it can be extremely thrilling. Another reason is that it can be a turn on to be 'mated' in the literal sense of the word, instead of domesticated sex, you'd be rutting wildly. Also, there are no strings attached (other than caring for your pet like any good pet gaurdian should), no pregnancy to worry about, no STDs, no bickering...just sex, and a loyal companion...although with some people it can go deeper than sex, and they truly love their 'pet' as more than just a companion. I really don't think there is anything perverse about it, it's not like it's hurting anyone.
