ZipMemberI strongly feel it is wrong to say Italian-Americans hate blacks. I'm an Italian-Canadian, and one of my best friends is black, and the person I have the biggest crush on is black, and my mother thinks black girls are the prettiest and cutest children. Maybe Italians in your neighborhood have heard some bad things about black people. Maybe they grew up with the stereotypes of black people. It's not fair to judge Italian-Americans as black haters when only a small percentage is like that..User Detail :

ZipMemberI absolutely love black women. If I were going out with a black lady, I would have no problem bringing her home to meet my family. My mom loves black women, too; she can't stop talking about how beautiful they are. Other people, like grandparents, were taught they should date within their own race, but they still would respect their grandchild's decision. Sometimes some Italians might be scared of what their parents might think about their child dating a black lady.User Detail :

ZipMemberI don't think what you're seeing applies to everyone. For instance, I absolutely love black women. In the past couple of months, I've been spending more time with black ladies, and I love them more than any white person I've ever met. They've got energy, they're fun to be around and they're caring. I don't see how anyone could not like them.User Detail :
