I can't speak for all people. But as for me i love piercings, I'm a 22 yo college student majoring in education. I have 3 piercings; a tongue ring, a naval piercing, and a hood piercing. I got my piercing simply beacuse i wanted to. I think they look sexy and promote originality and creativity. I'm young, educated, and free spirited...why not?
