Personally, I'm not a Jehova's Witness but I know many and I know enough about them to know that they would never permit this.If the elders in your friend's congregation knew about your friend and his friend's parties, they would all be kicked out of the congregation because that is unaccepteble in the eyes of God.

I am a Hispanic female, however I do not pluck all my eyebrows and then draw them in with a pencil. That is a choice that different females make, Hispanic or not. I do on occasion draw a hard lip outline simply because I like how I look. I always 'paste' my hair flat with gel, though, whenever I wear it up in a ponytail because I like to look neat and presentable and not like I just woke up and was lazy and didn't want to brush my hair. Believe it or not, it is hard work, especially since I have a lot of hair and it is way past my waist.

I am also Hispanic born in Mexico but raised here. Despite not being raised in Mexico I know a great deal about our rich culture and have never met a person who though so low of it. When men throw piropos at me I do not crumble or am upset by it simply because not only hispanics do this. Haven't you ever walked past a construction site where Anglos yell comments at you? And if so, does that mean that their culture is one of the basest and most perverted? Or that these men are desperate? Most of them are probably married to begin with.
