I was 18 when I gave birth to my son, who I gave up for adoption. I too had, and still have at 33, deep, wide stretch marks due to contractions during delivery. I have had no children since. I felt insecure about the changes it made on my body, but I have also learned that for some of us it’s a badge of honor. We carried and delivered healthy children. All you can do is try the normal things to strengthen your abs which will reduce the appearance and flatten the ‘baby-belly’. But other than that, it’s mental. Just know that even with the stretch marks, you are beautiful.

Well I can tell you men aren’t the only ones that think this. I asked my OB/GYN this question shortly before giving birth to my son… here is what he said. ‘Do your kegal excersises and no one will ever be able to tell.’ All kegals are, are contracting and holding for about 30 seconds at a time, the muscles of the vaginal wall. Which is actually more important for urinary reasons in a woman, than sexual. But doing it is no different than doing reps with any excersise. I can also tell you I had dated someone prior to my pregnancy, then again about 7 months after and and he told me there was no difference what so ever.So apparently kegals work.
