    David: that's a cute thought but completely incorrect. The only reason we tuck our hair behind our ears is that it's not as stiff as black people's and doesn't stay in place. It falls down into our face and eyes and we can't see; also it's uncomfortable and hot when it sits on our neck so we just tuck it back to get out of the way.

    it may be because they are jealous that they can't flip their hair the way we can and think we are rubbing it in by doing it, their hair is naturally stiffer and coarser so it doesnt 'flip'
