since it bothers you, i think you should speak up and tell him you don’t like what he says. and as he’s your friend he’ll stop it.

OK here’s a question: why would anyone choose to live a lifestyle where you are rejected by most of society, one where you are scared being yourself, to be persecuted and attacked for your ‘choice’? Wouldn’t it easier to be a sheep and be straight like everyone else? The answer: Because homosexual people DON’T choose. Neither do other animals in the animal kingdom where homosexuality is just something that occurs naturally. Unless you concurr that dolphins, monkeys and birds are as intelligent as humans as to make a choice on their sexuality? I’m sick of people who don’t think, Michael try using that thing between your ears next time.

i think you should just leave them alone unless your REALLY troubled by what they are up to. you’ll probably embarass the shit out of him if you confront him on the issue, but you could discuss the gay issue if you really feel like it. ‘boys will be boys’.

i think it’s because being gay threatens male masculinity and their societal role. gays go against the accepted heterosexual norm and straight men don’t want to associate themselves with such actions through being male. hence some of the aggressiveness directed by straight men on gays. whereas when lesbians perform for a straight guy, they are objectified and are there for his sexual pleasure. so this is ok because they don’t harm the male chauvinistic ego.
