What the original questioner sees as an issue of ethnicity may be one of class. He probably lives in a poorer, urban neighborhood where, regardless of ethnicity, the decibel level can get pretty irritating. As for your remarks about the conditions under which white folk get loud ... it sounds to me like you've got some negative judgments to overcome yourself.

Sorry. that doesn't cut it as a justification. The fact is that too many disadvantaged blacks are more than happy to blame white folks for problems they brought on themselves. Despite the history, for anyone who wants to get ahead in this country they can if they make intelligent choices and work hard. Especially now. Poor people are poor because they consistently make poor decisions ... regardless of race.
