David28629ParticipantI asked it because I overheard some people in a restaurant discussing how (if there were a test that could determine sexual orientation) they would abort a gay child ‘Because it would be sinful to bring such an ‘abomination’ into the world.’ This made me wonder how many people felt this way.

EmilyParticipantWell since I don’t believe that either is a sin i don’t think I would have a problem with it. I would just worry about my child being persecuted by bigots.

GordonRMemberThere’s lots of evidence suggesting homosexuality is determined at birth. Some people say it’s a choice. Who knows? However, I do know that religion is a choice. So is being homophobic. If there were a test that could show my child was going to grow up to be a homophobic Baptist, would I have an abortion? I’d have to think about it …
