I think that the asian women appeal strongly to most western men because they are the farthest removed from us. coupled with the fact that the asians seem to have a proclivity for procreation…what’s not to like?

I feel I am perfectly qualified to answer this question, I have dated mostly asian females for the past 12 years and Im a black american male. As opposed to black females, asian females are smaller. I prefer petite females personally. Black girls like Jada Pinkett are rare for black women. It is much easier to find a girl under 5’4′, under 110 pounds, small hands and feet, with delicate facial features among asians. I prefer small breasts. Slanted, cat-like eyes are sexy to me as well. Long hair is nice but even when Bai Ling shaved her head, she was sexy to me. I have liked asian females since I watched kung fu movies on tv as a little kid. When I went to college, I met a Japanese exchange student, from then on, I dated mostly japanese girls. I like their style of dress and feminine attitudes. I find asian americans to be very different than asians overseas and prefer the overseas types. I like a woman who chooses high heels over sneakers, skirts over pants and has a small pretty face. Skin color often isn’t a great factor but I tend to prefer tan skin if not brown like southeast asians over a very pale person. Some people are primarily concerned with outward appearances. However more often each person’s view of beauty is somewhat changed by their own experiences and what is in them. The saying ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ is probably most useful. Many of my friends were and are attracted to various parts of female anatomy, and it was rare for men to agree on any one shape, color, size, or ethnic origin as ideal. Personalities are also this way, what is appealling to me may not appeal to someone else. When I was in my 20’s I was much more concerned about an idea of ideal physical beauty. I’m a pretty regular straight guy, so I imagine many young men are similar(too bad for them). Now nearly forty, I think that nearly all women are beautiful. Although I would rather see someone with ‘inner beauty’ be matched with my son or any friend, than one with outer beauty alone. True beauty generally comes from the qualities of a person.

Foreign-born women from Asia (and also India, Russia, South America) tend to be more stereotypically ‘feminine’ to American men. In general they seem to like a stronger man. Physically, the straight black hair, the shape of the face and eyes, and the texture of the skin are things noticed. The endoderm of Asian and black skin has denser muscles so the skin appears softer and smoother — and wrinkles much later. Men who prefer black or dark brown hair tend to like Asian (and Indian) women because of that.

The truth is that we are all into different things usually. There is no standard. I personally like the tighter slantier asian eyes (read Lucy Lieu), but I have friends that like the rounder asian eyes. One thing we all agree on is that we like smooth asian skin. The reason I believe it to be different for all of us, is that asian women are not portrayed in the media as much as black and white women, so it is harder to tell. As children, we are all told that this white woman, or this black woman is nice looking/beautiful, but we dont get this same input for asian women. Therefore, for men who DO like asian women (cause not all do), we grow to develop our own image of what constitues beautiful, rather than having society dictate it to us. If you are curious about how to make yourself more beautiful, I would say dress nice, and try to make yourself look beautiful. That goes a long way regardless of your beauty. Since men dont have a preconcieved image of what is beautiful, they will be more receptive to even plain looking girls who make themselves look nice (dont go for the sleazy look though.)
