i have similarly shaky hands, although not quite to the extent you claim to have. If you are as attractive as you say, I don't think the shaky hands is a problem. Don't forget, most guys fall in love through their eyes, and most will (at least in the short term) overlook this trait. Even if you have this problem, you could always turn the situation into a light-hearted joke. Most every guy I know would love to have a drink spilled on them by a beautiful woman, if for no other reason that it is an 'in' to a conversation.

it depends on what you mean by native. the first people in hawaii probably came from east asia or south east asia anywhere from 2000 B.C.E to 1000 A.D. if these people are what you mean by native or indigenous than yes there probably are a few although some of them may be mixed racially with Japanese that came between 1600 and the present and Americans that came to Hawaii since the 1840's and escpecially since US annexation of Hawaii in 1898.

part of it may stem from the fact that the liberal left (which in general is democrats) were the first major political party to embrace the civil rights movement. a tradition of voting democrat got started and hasn't been broken.

It probably isn't lies. People could be telling you these things because they are truthful, but then you may remain single because, physical attraction plays a central role in relationships. I have gotten similar comments from girls, and there are entire websites devoted to trying to understand why girls and woman say they want intellignet, funny, sensitive men but seemingly 99% of woman turn around and go date mach jerks, who treat them terribly. The thing is that (especially with men) attraction is based centrally around physical attraction. Physical attractiveness is gauge through the most revered of all sense, sight. Add to that idiosyncracies of what one finds attractive and you have a very fickle driving force that is central to the nature of attraction.

Nothing in the constitution provides for the government having to accept or endorse an offical language. Likewise in capitalism (which the USA allegedly is) it is profitable to embrace what ever the market demands. If diversity can help you make profit than it will be embrace, if it becomes an impediment to profit it will be rejected. Don't expect the language of Noah Webster to go anywhere anytime soon, since American English now has the status of elevated language the world over. That's again thanks in part to the export of american culture everywhere from Japan to France. And given that millions of immigrants pour into the United Staes every year from nearly every country it is likely that American English will remain the standard middle ground by which all these groups will meet.

Nosatlagia stem i think from the fact that no matter how bad something was in the past a person has made it through where as the future is unknowable and all types of potential dangers lurk that we might not make it through. That said it seems almost human nature for people to be nostalgic. Every culture in history has thrived on ideas that at one time the universe was in harmony and something in the now is wrong or out of balance. Think of Milton when he describes 'the fall' It is almost as universal as faith itself, the that life was once idyllic. Within one's own life time there is of course the tendency to gloss over memories and make the past one fond rememberence.
