Yes, I think some teachings are taken completely out of context, but that is a human mistake. We can’t discount God’s Word because a minister/pastor/priest/etc. made a mistake. Personally, I would rather make up my own mind about those issues. But if we take in basic Christian principles (like God doesn’t make mistakes) we can find truth.

You say God is dead, which means you are saying he was once alive. So you are saying that God existed. But if God once existed, and he can’t die, you are contradicting yourself. By the way, I would like to read that essay. Could anyone tell me where I can find it?
