Maybe the question is what constitutes feminine behavior in this society, or what men would naturally act like if unconstrained by the pressures of NOT being seen as gay. I don’t see flaming gay men as acting feminine so much as acting, well, gay. And natural to themselves. I don’t see butchy lesbians acting like men, either. It’s just another style of being a man or woman in an individual way.
