    For Whitney: You should look up 'recessive trait' in a good genetics book. Of course a straight person can be born to a homosexual person, and vice versa. Have you never heard of a blue-eyed child of two brown-eyed parents? Any first-year biology student of genetics can tell you about that. Yes, homosexuality is genetic. And it is not limited to our species, either.
