I am a ‘reformed’ cutter. I started cutting my arms, legs and stomach when I was about 14. I didn’t know exactly why I did it but I just knew that the physical pain felt much better than the sadness and hurt I felt in my heart. It was about killing myself it was about pain. I say ‘reformed’ because being a cutter is a disease just like alcoholism or drug addiction and there is always an underlying reason for it. Through therapy and flashbacks, I remembered I was molested as a child. If you are a cutter this will stay with you for the rest of your life but you need to find a professional to talk to in order to know what other things you can do to deal with it. I am now 32 and there are times when things getting really bad and I think of doing it agian but I don’t because I know other ways to handle it. Please get some help- I know how you feel. Email me if you ever want to talk! Please!

When my best friend told me she was pregnant with her 7th child I said to her, ‘have you figured out what caused it yet’. It was purely a joke, but then again, she is my friend and knew it was a joke. I would NEVER say that to just anyone! They are NOT on welfare!!!! Her husband works 6 days a week. There was a point a couple of years ago when they did accpet food stamps because they truly needed it because her husband was just starting up a business. I have three children of my own, and that is all that I want and can afford. Just because people have large families doesn’t mean they are low lives who sit back and collect welfare and if you beleive that then you are stereotyping all people. I don’t have a problem with couples who have 10 or 15 children as long as they can support them emotionally, physically and psychologically. The only problem I do have with people who choose to have multiple children is if you teach your children to live off of welfare. Where you have generation after generation living off of welfare because its ‘easier’. This can be said about a family with 1 child as well. God Bless everyone who has children because it takes alot of love and patience.
