There are multiple reasons for teenagers acting out. They realize that very soon, it will be socially unacceptable for them to be as loud and annoying as possible. They are the ‘look-at-me’ kids- they always want all the attention on them. Or they’re just having fun at others’ expense. I know that I will make fun of merchandise in stores if it is worth making fun of- normally something that no one in their right mind would wear or something that has something stupid written on it (i.e. ‘Brunettes do it better’- it is just sad that people will walk around in that). That is simply a product of my cynical sense of humor and I don’t do it loudly because I know I will annoy people if I do.
