    It’s not you. It’s the fact that some people think that we can’t do anything by ourselves. It’s not you, but before you do something to help, ask the person if they need it. They might not need it at all. But it is nice of you to consider helping.

    Well if you ask the individual, they shouldn’t have a problem with calming answering. If a person’s struggling with a door, it would be fine to just ask. Asking is always good. Some people don’t like others to help them, but many do.
